What is your oldest possession?

Mine is my teddy bear, which was made for me by a friend of my mothers. It was given to me on the day I was born. So its now 30 years old!
I have left because of immature people that cannot accept people for who they are.

It's not nice to upset others.

Well as soon as I learn't to talk, I named him Cold eyes because when ever you touch his eyes, they are cold.

And while touching them, it gave me comfort and helped me sleep.

You know, he did LOL

I used to sleep with it right up until about a year ago, because I had him "stuffed" and now, with his new eyes, he is not the same. :(

Marcos was great though. If he found it on the floor, he would give it to me if I was in bed lol

The only thing I have is a blanket. from Italy, that is probably about 100 years old. It is a carriage blanket. Red and dark blue. Wool, of course, with fringe. I gave it to my daughter in law, for my grandson Liam. He is two. I wrote a note explaining how old it was. She didnt care. When she left my son and her child, she left the blanket behind. And so, I have it again.

The silver salt dispenser that was passed down from my great-great Grandmother. It is actually a crystal bottom with a silver rim and a very small silver spoon. I've heard that salt was a rare commodity and this was the one thing she had of quality...........given on an anniversary by a very poor husband.

The thing I've had for the longest time is my grey bunny that was given to me when I was a baby (long time ago now:( )

The thing I own that is the oldest is probably two items of Clarice Clift pottery that I was given by a relative. (Don't have much old stuff really, just an old husband!!!):D

Yeah, I was quite shocked by how much one of them is worth - I have a jug with crocus's on and a sort of sugar dredger with I'm not sure what on and that is the more valuable one!

I have lots of antique tools and stuff that came to me and my sister via my father from his great-grandparents. And a very old Minnesota sewing machine. The kind with the foot thingy that runs it? It's quite beautiful actually. I had an antique piano that came to me from my mom, but unfortunately it was destroyed in a fire at my cousin's house :(
