It is nice to relax in the garden

Post by nvalleyvee »

I haven't been here in a while because there has been family to care take. We had to go to Utah because BTS' Mom had 2 strokes and then a stent put in her heart.....duh.........she had the strokes because her heart was clogged - like son like mother I think.

We have 2 children being deployed - NOT TO IRAQ - but to places they cannot take their families.........Guam and Korea.

BTS had surgery on his knee and has been out of whack for almost 2 months - he had surgery last week and maybe gets PT next week. I whacked my back out and had 5 wonderful weeks of physical therapy............I never thought I would feel good again........gotta love those docs.

But hey......the garden is in.......there will be tomatoes to can. there will be cucumbers to try for dill pickles (anyone have a good dill recipe?) Mine SUCKS the big salt nasty.

I haven't made Dill Pickles in years - use to help my Dad - delicious.!!

Had nearly 2 years of Physical Therapy for my back - tried everything under the sun - Surgery around the corner.

Busy packing up my in laws, moving into a retirement center - resort.. My husband ( the only child ) is intitled to everything - so we're so busy moving our furniture out and new stuff in.

Years ago we bought them a slot machine - we got it back.. Along with so much other stuff Busy Busy..

Good to see your back in the garden..

We've been in the process of doing the same. Going to go finish up my mom's today so that hopefully, I can finish getting my house back together. While we had all of our livingroom packed up, we figured we might as well put in new carpet too. I hope your moving goes quicker than mine.

When it rains, it pours, huh? I'm glad your back is better. Hope BTS's knee heals well. Tell him I said to listen to you and it will.
