For me today, and all the other teachers here. Good luck today AC! I shall miss you all until I come home after meetings all day........I promise not to go to sleep, too much................:wah:

I don't meet my kids until next Monday, but I have about 3 months' work and learning to cram into this one week. :yh_tired

I hear ya Chonsi,

I'm making the most of these days. I don't start until the day after Labor Day. But, I will be going in for the next 4 days to set up the classroom. Good luck Pinky and Accountable.

Wow, that's early for around here chonsi, our schools don't start here until after Labor day, & our teachers don't start till next week. Well hope enjoyed your first day!:)

My first day was memorable. Apparently anyone willing to go into the lion's den that is BMU (behavior management unit) is worthy of respect, even low-grade awe by some.

Every time I was introduced to a veteran teacher I got the raised eyebrows. OH! You're the one.

All the teachers assembled in the auditorium for the obligatory first day speeches and introduce the new teachers. I actually heard a murmur go through the crowd when the principal called my name and intoned "BMU". :wah:
