Bill is my uncle.. my grams son. Now my mom was out of town with her hubby so she knew nothing about this until today. I am so f*ing pi$$ed off it's not even funny. My cousin lives literally down the street like 15 houses down.. but NO ONE could pick gram up to bring her to this BBQ!! That messed up. I am calling my family later to go off. I've been begging her to move here with me.. that she would never be lonely or anything ever again. She won't though because my gramps built that house and she refuses to leave. :( I've never felt to sick about my family before. Why on earth would they do that to her.

Sorry i had to vent

I wish you were my granddaughter. My eldest son did exactly the same thing to me, this past 4th of July. Its sad, and its inconsiderate, and its mean.

It's a shame she wasn't invited and picked up for a family event.

Angel, You're so sweet and I certainly agree with you. If my nana was still alive I would drag her to my home and make her live with me. I would do everything to help her. We have to be good to our family.

AE

well this is unfortunate - feelings can be hurt here.

Could this be a simple misunderstanding, maybe one thought another invited your grandmother.

Think this thru before your calls are made - make the call but try not to put others on the defense, or more feelings will be hurt, and I don't think you'd really want that where the whole family has friction.

Good luck

Hey missy Minks..... I was away for a few weeks. Hankering down for the winter now. No more trips for a while. Its horrible to hurt old people. I used to do landscape work in 2 retirement communities on Long IslandThe elderly would wait for me in their driveways when I was due to come. Make me lunch.... talk to me about how the kids never came to see them. Awful/
