Just so some of you know, I will be going in for yet another surgery on the 22cd. of this month. I still really do not know if I want this surgery. I have been told by nuro surgeons and other doctors I really do not have a choice. I guess the only thing holding my neck together right now is three screws and a plate. One screw backed out allready. Well, just wanted some of you to know this. take care tazz:D

I am sorry to hear that you have to go through this, it must be very scarry.

Have you checked out the reputation of the physician that will be perfoming the operation?

Elective surgery is always frightening! You mentioned numerous doctors have said you need it. Therefore you have had the proverbial get a "second opinion" several times over, so you know it must be done! I don't envy you, I myself have been putting off having "elective" surgery on my thumb joint replacement for over a "dozen" years cause I am chicken. And my needed surgery is pale compaired to yours, so I salute your courage! Best wishes, & good luck!!
