OMG, my son just started screaming, so went up to his room to find out what was wrong, i looked down and he'd some how cut the side of his toe. :(

I ahve no idea how he did it, as he has nothind sharp or anything in his room, so thinking maybe he just pulled the door open on his toe.

He's ok now, put a plaster on it for him but just paniced a bit

Yeah, think i will go up when he's asleep and check it, cos he hates having his feet touched, so you can imagine the struggle i had putting the plaster on

yep you got it and the longer you can keep the wound covered the better.

Jr Minks is awful and always was, she liked to pull the band aids off about 4 minutes after they were applied and then she would poke and prod the wound till it bled again... what an ape huh.

Well i took my son to the docs this afternoon and they said it had healed already (that was quick to say he did it last night) but they claned it up properly and stuck another plaster on it.

I told the docs i was having trouble doing it myself cos he would kick and scream everytime i tried to touch it.......well...my son made me out to be a complete liar, he moved his foot around a bit whilst the doc was doing it but that was it, never even made a sound.....typical :wah:

For some reason this reminded me of my step-daughter when she was younger.

She'd hurt her knee and had a big plaster on it that was going grey and needed to come off. She wouldn't do it, she wouldn't let us near it so we got her in the bath to get it wet so it'd be easier to take it off.

She wouldn't put her knee into the water! We tried persuading her, we tried telling her, we tried shouting at her she just sat there crying. In the end we held her down, forced the knee into the water and pulled it off with her screaming at us!! Hilarious wind up for her now!:sneaky:

My middle daughter twisted her foot a couple of days ago, it is really hurting her and she was a bit teary yesterday evening. As we were walking home, with my youngest daughter, she complained again about her foot, I told her to not worry about it andthat it will hurt for a while still as she uses her feet lots. As we continued walking home my youngest daughter started whinging, making those noises that only a mother can cope with without comitting murder, and when I asked what her problem was she promptly said: "My foot hurts mum".........I cracked up laughing at her, which made her pouting lower lip almost touch the ground and she continued to moan.

I have noticed that if anyone is suffering in our house, one or more ppl in my home will suddenly out of the blue and for no reason be experiencing the same and worse.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL, kids, who'll have 'em.
