Free Coffee and Doughnuts!!

Whenever I see cops in the gas-station (which is most mornings) they always buy coffee and doughnuts. The cashier always says its on the house

Now I wonder why this is, are the cashiers trying to ensure that any future run-in with the cops will be in their favour. Or, is the gas-station owner running an illegal business 'out-back' and this is his fee for not getting busted (cheap

)?

Also, why do cops love doughnuts so much?

Do they have to have annual physical stamina/physical tests? Cos the ones I see are VERY large, and look like they have had one to many doughnuts :-3

Swoosh up goes IPs kitchen window, moves head side to side, looking, looking,nope dont see The Pheasant, thought for a minute that you lived in the same town I do. Same goes on here, same thoughts, something illegal, or something else.

When I worked at a store, we gave the cops free coffee for one simple fact. when we were locking up and leaving for the night, they would sit there and make sure we got safely to our cars. That was a small price to pay for their services.

They should do that though on their own. I mean my town is TINY fishing and boating community, hey I wanted to as The Pheasant, do your cops hit on married women, cuz they do here.

They would do it free. That was our way of thanking them. We had a cop that would hit on any woman, single, married, young, old, you get the idea. :wah: He didn't last long.

if I had a business I'd probably give certain people things for free as a thank you for serving the community. :-6

I haven't seen any hitting on the women, but it is very early in the morning and I probably wouldn't notice. At that time of day, even if a cop was stood naked in front of me, I would probably hold the door open, yawn, wish him good-morning, then go on my merry way. About 2 hours later - I would think to myself 'Oh my God, that cop was naked'

The two convience stores in my down give the cops their drinks for free.
