Who was your Best Friend?

Their was 4 of us girls who hung round together in School, Julie, Jane and Wendy and myself. Once school finished and we got jobs we all went pubbing and clubbing together and had 4 foreign holidays together. Were all married with children now and still keep in touch and meet up at least once a month.

My best friend Heidi,

i've know her since we were 6, think we had one fall out when we were about 12 but it only lasted a couple of hours.

We are still very good friends and she's a god mother to my son and i am god mother to her youngest daughter.

My other best friend sam, who i've know since i was 11, she is also a god mother to my son, and she comes to visit me, wherever i am in the world :-4

I lost touch with most of my friends from elementary years - thats due to my Dad dragging us all around the country, a different school each year (almost) and then of to Canada :-5

Still, I have made and kept some great friends since :-4

Good friends are hard to come by!! I only have been able to keep in touch with one of my sweet friends from High School, and we only talk about once or twice a year....I'm a weird person evidentially....

I moved from Chicago when I was 13, so I left those friends behind. Kept in touch for awhile but then went our separate ways. I hope they are all doing well...have good memories of them. So, Kathy and Tommy, especially, thanks for the memories.

Back in my tomboy days from about 4 - 10 I was best buddies with a lad called Jamie, we remained friends for years until we were about twenty, he was working away by that time but used to come home to visit his family often. We met up and had a drink and he made a pass at me which I turned down. He never spoke to me again. Just not my type, but I wish we could have remained friends. :-1

From 10 till now Tamsin was/is my bestest (lol) friend, she went to a different school, went to college whilst I went to work, she spent a year in America then moved up country when she married, to this day we speak weekly, I visit her as much as I can and she spent a week here with me in the summer.

My current neighbour is a girl I met at secondary school, we're the only ones that have kept in constant contact since leaving school and now our children play together almost daily, we share childcare and we're now at college together.

hm interestingly *winks to Angel* my very first bestest friend's name was Suzy. There was also Joannie and Sandra.

Then I discovered boys ahahaha

Ok they were in my early years then Brenda, and Lori for my High School years.

Sadly Brenda passed on in her early 30's and all the others I have lost touch with.

I moved often so lost touch easily.

My best friend in school was Elaine, and I haven't heard from her in years. Sometimes time just lets you drift apart, but you always remember the good times you had as kids.

Lisa Ostrander, she was killed by our house by a drunk driver while riding her bike when we were 14.

Accidents happen, but when it is someone so young, and because of someone being a complete self centred a..hole, it makes me so angry.

My best female friend ever is Carrie.:-4 We met in 8th grade. We have done so many CRAZY things together over the years. Not so much since we became "adults". But when we were younger........Oh the stories I could tell.

Her younger sister died when we were in 10th grade. And I don't have a sister. So we have always called each other sis.

She started working night shift about six months ago. We don't get to talk or get together as much now. That is one reason I started posting on forums. I got a little lonely.

i was a tomboy..and lived on a street full of boys when i was little..i remember john mark, alan, david.mark, duane..richard , ryan, randy ,and i had girls friends..tina and sheryl...Tara. i still keep in touch every xmas with them...
