Geeze Mags....that doesn't happen in our school.....think that we just have a great PTO and they make it easy for all to participate...they're fabulous organizers and all are welcome:-6

I'm not so sure Fuzzy. :-6 I think a real event organized with the older generation in mind would be far better received. You could could add the option to just donate if they did not want to/or could not attend. :-6

I am heavily involved in our PTO too, and I know what a nightmare it is to organize fund-raisers. We recently got the kids to write their own poems and got them put together in hard-back books. The grand-parents loved them, and they were very popular with the parents too.

Bingo and Chinese auctions seem popular too. :-6

We did a basketball tournament this year. The concession stand proceeds went to the PTO. Now we are in the process of selling tubs of cookie dough as a fund raiser.
