I spent part of it on earrings on ebay. I'm not self indulgent or anything.:o

Haven't received mine yet but I'm sure it'll go toward groceries and household needs. Bills.

Well that's no fun at all. You should spend at least a small part of it on something frivolous.

Eh, I don't get one, but I will spend $600 in good faith anyway.:-5

Going to put the new found money in my "new car savings account"! :)

I'm saving up to eventually buy a new car, to replace my existing Florida car. Want to buy it outright, can't stand to have to pay $4000 in intrest on a car loan. (Don't like leasing (renting) a car either, so . . .)

I'll probably do $500 worth of complaining about having to cash a paper check, then spend $100 in gas to get to a check cashing place. :yh_frustr

I have to wait for awhile to get mine-something frivolous sounds like a good idea, since some is going towards kids glasses.

I haven't received mine yet?? Thought it would be deposited directly into my bank account based on last four digits of my ssn but haven't seen it yet. Went online and got no answers there, the site said they couldn't tell me when it would be coming.

I planned on spending it on a local service for some landscaping. Guess I shouldn't spend it until I get it though.

I know someone who actually filed their tax return for the first time in about 10 years because of the extra money being paid to folks who filed.

I can't help but wonder if the IRS will be curious about where they've been and if perhaps there has been some income along the way...:wah:
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

I went to a Farmers Consignment sale and walked away with things that it was a sin to buy at such prices!

Example,,, a Brand new HUFFY mountain bike for $75 and a hydraulic bumper jack for $12.50:driving:

Yes, thats what we thought.

Theres an unless.

Unless you used a service which required a fee to process this years taxes.

That includes a 10 or 20 dollar fee for using an internet tax service, in which case you can just scrap all those dates above.

Instead they will send you a paper check in the mail at a later date to be determined.

Someone somewhere had an idea. I hate it when people have ideas.
