I like all peeps, dont matter where from or what colour, its their manner that I might not like or their morals, standards etc...Deffo not their roots..

We dont really see much of them in my neck of the woods Jimbo but ive often wondered how the one's that are here class themselves as travellers when they dont actually travel, lived on a council estate all their life

My Very good friend Pete comes from a very big Gypsie family, is a fine upstanding man and would do anything for you. It just seems to me as soon as some people find out about his heritage, their attitude to him changes, for the worse :-5

On a lighter note, He's bald too. Is that some kind of ritual hairdo that some of you do?

You know, when I posted that article about the Italians ignoring the two drowned girls on the beach, I didn't even catch that they were Gypsy girls, even though it said that in the story. I couldn't believe it was a true article, that anyone would be so callous. I thought maybe they were just sitting there in shock. Then the Gypsy factor was pointed out to me. What the hell's the matter with people? Are they really hated that much??!

my kids are half and half too, on their dads side.

their family and all their " aunts and uncles " ( you addressed elders like that out of respect ) had high moral values, worked damn hard all their lives and had homes ..... some houses...... that you could eat off the floor in.

ive lived down here for 25yrs now and still my kids get funny looks when they talk of their background !! which i might add, they are thouroughly proud of.
