Do you think someone who hasn't experienced a certain event can have an opinion on it???? I mean of course you have opinions but can it be really correct? Or do opinions really even need to be correct?????

....And Potato Chips...........Ha Ha.........

Are you talking about "empathy" for someone elses situation?

Everyone has an opinion or advice, but you do not have to listen to or heed it.

I believe that even if a person has gone thru something, and someone else has gone thru the same thing, they may still have differing perspectives because each person is unique and see things from their own point of view. Does this make any sense?? :-3

I mean i think we say oh well that's your point of view to avoid arguments.... isn't there in the end a right answer? I don't think everyone should have an opinion on everything.... because some people are stupid. haha (i know that is my opinion) but some people are stupid. or ignorant... that's a better word.

I just remind myself that opinions are like buttholes, we all have one. Whether or not it's correct is another matter. :wah:

No, I don't see how in the end there could be a right answer. What is right for some is not for others...that's what makes this forum so fun. Yeah, some people are stupid or ignorant, but the majority of people do have opinions on most things...whether we see it as right or wrong. The "ignorant" should still be entitled to their opinion, but we choose if we want to listen to it or not.

No, if a person 'has not' experenced an event then any opinons would have to come from 'hear say' so would be 'rumor' IMO, but if I am experencing an event (good or bad) and their is someone that has experenced the same kind of 'event' then I welcome and ask for their input. Input can be called 'opinon' by some or 'advice' by others.

That's why opinions are called opinions. They do not have to be correct. They are OPINIONS.

If I say to you that it is raining outside and it is not, then the statement that I made is not correct.

If I say to you that in my OPINION it is raining outside, then that is just my opinion and does not need to bre correct.
