On Body Piercings....

Post by RedGlitter »

We've talked about tattoos but I don't remember ever seeing a piercing thread. Some of you know a few months ago I pierced my navel (standard piercing) and it rejected. I was upset because I really wanted that stupid little thing!! Today I gave up on the standard way and did an inverse piercing instead. (Bottom half of navel) I am hoping since I did this one right it will not reject. I'm happy with it and I think I even like it better than the other way. It's a little more different. Other than that and my ears, that's all I have and all I'm getting.

What do you all have?? :)

ears and that's all there's ever going to be.

At one point I wanted to pierce my eyebrow, but never got around to it.

Yes I did, Abbey. I figured it would hurt less if I did it myself. It really wasn't bad at all until I took off the clamps. Then it hurt a lot for a few seconds.

I like those uh....name escapes me...Monroe is it? Where they have a little stud for a beauty mark, like near the corner of their lip? I think those are cool but I'd probably never do it myself. Pierced noses too. I like those.

i just have my ears, although theyre stretched to about 5mm. They used to be 8mm but i thought it was starting to not look very feminine so let them close a bit.

Ive had my navel done but it rejected - thats really common with navels. I had one nipple done too but didnt keep it for long

i have always wanted a tattoo and maybe an earring ... but have never had it done ...

no reason really except like for business ...

does it look cool to rock up at some old dear's mansion wanting to sell her collection of antique furniture and you look like captain jack sparrow?

i dunno ... does it?

:wah: Captain Jack Sparrow. ;) Funny. Well, maybe not a dangly earring but perhaps a nice tiny ruby stud from the Deco era would be sharp? :) You're funny JJ. You made me laugh. :-6

ah! terri my sweetpea!

making you laugh has made my post worthwhile honey!

i like the idea of the tiny ruby art deco stud ...

however if i am gonna go thru the trauma of letting some stranger make a hole in my ear/s ... oooooooooooooow! ...

i am gonna definitely wear a very dangly earring like capin' jack!!!

Just my ears. I always wanted one of those eyebrow ones, but then say my oldest daughter get one and that changed my mind very quickly. I would love to get a tatoo though. Both of my older daughters have their bellybuttons and their tongues done...not for me.

Just ears and no plans to ever pierce anything else... ever!

No tatts either, they do absolutely nothing for me.

No piercings whatsoever! It makes my tummy sick to watch people digging that post looking for the hole in the back of their ear!:yh_sick

It gets harder and harder for me to find earrings. Although I have about 6 jewelry boxes of jewelry. But I find a lot of mine at estate sales, flea markets and antique shops. I love the older ones but I like the long dangly ones.

I don't understand how pierced people wear heavy jewlery. I looks like it hurts and it makes me queasy. Lobes all stretched out and everything. . . .

Oh, no tats either. Does this make me boring?:-3

My mom would never let me get my ears pierced when i was a teenager!

i had to wait until i was a grown married woman, i think i was about 25, my husband and i went to the mall one night and i got them done in the jewelry store just one hole in each ear, i have no desire for any other piercings and no desire for any tattoos either!
