Well, it's hard to shut me up in general...:wah:

I also have this problem, for example I was waxing lyrical here for 8 pages about turkeys, and never mind the poem for brussels sprouts.

And the turkey convo has morphed into a discussion on classical gods and the rites of the christian church...I mean, how can that be disappointing?

Yes, thats the best thing about these threads, they can go anywhere. :)

Talking of condiments, I am a great fan of Cranberry sauce with the turkey, which is of course an all-American combination, and a damn tasty one. We also have ham with our dinner because obviously as turkeys only weight about 20 pounds, you need another 12 pounds of ham. :-3 I was wondering, do you have English mustard over in Cali, I do like American mustard on some things (like hot dogs obviously), but very strong English mustard is great with some nice ham.

I love condiments!

'Bally, not only do we have English, French and American mustard....we have Chinese mustard, which is not for the faint of heart! I love it!

Rare? It's unknown! Are you REALLY male? :)

I am indeed, now I didn't say I could do everything at once like a woman, but I can certainly be fiendish for pinky's pleasure, while also be thinking somewhere in my head about the origins of Brussels Sprouts without it affecting anything, I just have to remember not to mix the two up. I also must admit that I do have some of the typical male characteristics, such as liking car engines, military history, soccer etc etc, but then I like playing the piano and singing songs as well, and writing poems about things I like (such as vegetables) so I must have a pretty well developed feminine side as well, I can do a bit of the sensitive man thing, though not for long I'm afraid, but I does me best.

Chinese mustard, Crickey, I don't think I've had that? Is it like Wasabi? I must check it out at the Asia market next time I am in the city. Have you had German mustard, its kinda sweet, strange, its nice sometimes, but it is very sweet.

I could see where that might go badly wrong!!!:wah:

Yes, it would be unforgivable, its usually best to just concentrate on either one or the other and make a thorough job of them separately, though sometimes you have to bring it up a gear and get everything going at once, which can also be fun as well come to think of it! :sneaky:

So, you can be fiendish to me after thinking about me sprout if you lke, heehee!

Whichever way works best for you I am happy to oblige. I certainly do like challenges, and some are definetly more fun than others, I havn't had too many complaints so far either, (well at least about my sprout-poetry anyway). I can be a bit of a challenge myself you know, I am certainly no push-over, but I think you know that already my dear.

I am flattered of course, obviously I find that you are a lot of fun too. I certainly don't doubt that you like challenges either. Now, I shall stop my flirting and retire for the night, its been fun. ;)

(Woo hoo....just READING that was fun!)

'Bally, Chinese mustard can be purchased prepared or powdered. You SHOULD find it served with spring rolls and other appetizers in a good Chinese restaurant...be sure they're serving genuine Chinese and not something else.

I'd forgotten about German mustard...it IS sweetish and probably good with their sausages & hams.

OK...I'm hungry now. This is me leaving to prepare an omelette.

PS--do you like chipotle peppers? (HEAVEN.....)
