Threadjack...
Valerie, you sweet pea

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I appreciate it.
And, a quick update...I am almost through this busy season. Yay!! I should be at work right now finishing up...no excuses as to why I'm not. LOL
But soon it will be done, and we can work a mere 6 days a week for March, then back to a cushy 5 days a week.
I can't wait to tackle my house. It's so dirty - ewwwww!! And, for all that this experience has been a complete drag, I've learned a lot more than I realized.
Today is a good day. I asked for special permission to put up a Do Not Disturb sign at my cubicle, so that I can work like a demon and finish my project without interruptions like:
Can you print this Excel workskeet for me?...(Well, I could if you'd get out of the file.)
Where is the backup? I don't see the backup...(It's in your hand.)
Ohh, did you need me to do this right away? I was thinking I could get to it next week....(It was due yesterday, so I'll do it. Thanks anyway.)
It's the interruptions that really test my patience. Occasionally I call a coworker and ask if murder is still illegal. LOL.
I am usually little miss PollyAnna but yesterday I was so stressed (and silent) that I literally scared people. The administrative assistants told me so, and asked what they could do because if I go down, it ruins morale. I'm usually the one cheering us on, assuring everyone we can do this, and generally making people's teeth ache with my sweet happy attitude. LOL! But I'm through the worst of it now.
The Do Not Disturb sign will help A LOT! Yay! Now, I just have to remember where I put my sense of humor....
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
