The membership also allows you to have storage of 4000 pms instead of the 5 that you have. Plus I think that Tombstone is a great guy and has created a santuary for us here at FG. I don't think $10 is a lot of money for this site....especially all the work that he puts into maintaining it.

Wow. What a gorgeous picture!! I live in the barren desert so all that lush greenery looks incredible to me.

May I ask where you live? If you'd rather not or can't say I understand. I was just wondering where that beautiful land is.

It's good that you have a journal. I was going to suggest that earlier. I've been following this thread but every time I wanted to reply, I'd get called away.

I don't mind being alone but I do miss having another person to talk to or just the puttering around of another person in the house. Pets help a great deal and I find that leaving the tv or radio on helps quell the lonelies too.

I wanted to say how great I think it is that you aim to be a fireman. Well I know i'm supposed to say firefighter but I still say fireman or firewoman. When I was a kid I used to live next door to a fireman and I've just found out recently that an old friend of mine, a very petite woman, has been a firefighter for about two years. I can't tell you how much regard I have for them. People laugh at me because when I see a fireperson in uniform, my eyes water. Can't be helped, I am just so grateful for them and proud of all of them, even the ones I don't even know.

Very pretty picture of the scenery, more vegetation up there than in the southern deserts. Do you get lots of golden poppies in the spring?

Oh, I would like to see a picture. I miss the poppies, and the lupines we have in the foothills. My poppies did not grow this year back here in Baltimore, for the first time. I miss them.
