7 year old breaks into Zoo, kills several animals

Post by Oscar Namechange »

Spot, do you believe you can take any child and mould that child to be the person you wish it to be?

When one adopts a child, there are untold problems. The child basically has different chromosone's, genes and inherited factors.

A for feeding animals to other animals in zoo's etc, i must admit i am a hypocrite.

For a living, my nephew has license and when reptiles are siezed at airports, they have to go some-where. His house, by large and he has to feed them. He himself an not bear live quarry and so buys in frozen food.

The Bosch Monitor's are the worst but such beautifull creatures. Idiots try to smuggle them into the country. It's big business.

If there were not such people as my nephew who took in such reptiles siezed at airports, these animals would have a long agonising death. They are specialist creatures that need specialised living conditions, ie infer red heat.

The ultimate aim is to return them to the wild. In between time, they have to be fed and you can't give them egg and frie's. They have to be fed what they would normally catch in the wild.

My nephew can not bring himself to feed live rats etc to them so they are bought from suppliers frozen.

He does not enjoy doing it, but it has to be done to keep the illegally imported reptile alive, some of which are endangered specie's.

There is a question of weather a supplier should be in such a business but as in the case of my nephew, they are supplied in order to keep other animals alive. It is an end to an ends, but it is not done with malice or enjoyment.

The child involved in this case was not feeding one animal to another out of necessity to keep one alive, he was doing it for fun and of malice.

Good on your nephew:-6

As far as the child, he is still a child and hopefully can be rehabed.

I too hope something can be done for this child and his brother. I also hope the zoo spends some mega money protecting any-one entering like this. However, if he hadn't of got into the zoo, i fear he may have used his attention on another accessable animal.

A very quick true story. My nephew lives in a terrace of six houses at no 6.

He came home one day and his dad said, your really in trouble now, big trouble. You know that black widow spider you lost four days ago? Well it's been found, in nuumber 4. They called the police :wah:

When one adopts a child, there are untold problems. The child basically has different chromosone's, genes and inherited factors.I've never taken any child and moulded it to be the person I wanted it to be, I think that would be a dreadful imposition of my own personality on it. I've always enjoyed discovering what the child turned into and helped it get where it would most like to reach.

The bit about "the child basically has different chromosone's, genes and inherited factors" is why I asked whether you thought I could succeed. Some people have this assumption that evil exists in some children from conception and nothing can be done to mend it. My experience is that that's a dreadful lie. Even thinking it is likely to leave some children abandoned to whatever path they can create for themselves instead of a supported one. No child's likely to find the most beneficial path without help, far from it.

Presumably the different genes, chromosomes and other inherited factors are still the genes, chromosomes and traits of a homo sapien. If so, they can be raised as well as any other child.

The Omen was a fictional film.

I wonder how we know the brother, who is purported to have been in a group of kids who threw rocks at the crocodiles, actually threw a rock? A group of kids, of which one child threw a rock, would be seen as an entire group of kids who were causing trouble. I'd also like to know how they get away with showing the photos of the underage child on the news. I'd also like to know what the heck it means to say a family has a "history of violence." One of the parents, or both, have been arrested for assault? Maybe it means they own a copy of a film in which Viggo Mortenson has a naked knife fight in a bathhouse.

I went through a year with mine asking for a succession of Viking Sagas and I'll tell you, the precision of speech required to get Guðrún Ósvífursdóttir and her two boyfriends Kjartan Ólafsson and Bolli Þorleiksson successfully into the heads of five to nine year olds as real people takes a lot of doing. They learned a lot about inexorable fate and the need to grin and tell a ponderous joke when things get bad, it was good stuff.
