Does this mean if Suzie turns up for the weekend you'll not be able to tidy the kitchen?
I'd get well in time if I were you.
This isn't "If Dick Cheney can do it so can I" is it?

It wasn't a very good tie all round, was it Abs? I know Spurs are playing badly this season, but they brought Utd down to nearly the same level

D'ya know what, it was like watching the local lads from the pub at the sunday match.
We could do with more players like Rooney and Tevez,
Berbatov has to be the laziest player I've ever clapped eyes on. :-5

Those there on Friday will spend the afternoon and evening socializing. If we haven't decided on what we'd most like to do on the Saturday then we'll choose then, we can't leave it any later. We'll post the Saturday itinerary on the site on Friday evening.
All of Saturday is doing what we decided to do and gathering in all the other people who are coming to it. We'll end up back near the Tower socializing again.
Sunday, for those around, will be whatever we each have time for.
If you want to start some Saturday proposals then that would be useful.
Time Out London - Find Out What's On in London including Theatre, Music, Art, Clubs, Museums and Attractions with Time Out London - Search in London is a useful place to see what's on.

Thank you
My reason for asking is that I know dubs was hoping to meet up with us on Saturday for a few hours. So I was just wondering if anything had been decided about a time and place to meet

There can't be "a time and place to meet" on the Saturday, everyone's arriving at times convenient to themselves. There'll be a core group who are staying locally who will presumably all take breakfast together at around 8am but I don't expect Saturday-only people to show up for that.

So what did you find on Time Out London - Find Out What's On in London including Theatre, Music, Art, Clubs, Museums and Attractions with Time Out London - Search in London which tempted you?
Or there's cathedrals.
Or there's sightseeing.

The Sally Bash down at Boothe House would be so much easier from the Tower - just down the Whitechappel High Street rather than all that way oop north.

I will go with the majority, but left to me on my own I would be happy to just wander the streets and admire the architecture, but I'm a bit odd, sorry :wah:

They've just finished "refurbishing" it (plastering over the cracks) and it looks little better now than before - Her Madj would not be amused.

Once the new buildings are up and they can demolish the old then the site will make more sense - they can build the new frontage and put in the parking areas to replace those they've built on.
The new hospital should be a facility fit for the next hundred years.

If you want to do something a bit different you could go to the London Dungeon.
I don't think I'm going to be there, but if existing arrangements turn out not to be quite as final as I think they are that will change.

We did that a couple of years ago too.
It would be pleasing if you showed up.

I would like to. But it looks as though I'm hosting a load of friends to fight a big battle in the wargame campaign I run for them. I'll also be trying to photograph the game as it goes along and post a report to the relevant website. In effect, this will be the culmination of about 18 months running of the campaign and the justification of my campaign design, so I simply can't miss it.
Only chance it won't happen is if a player or two can't make it, which is not looking likely at the moment.
