The itinerary is now fixed as far as the morning goes.

We'll all four be in the National Gallery from 10.30am Saturday. Calls to 07772772935 will reach me and help anyone join up with the main group.

Suggestions for where to go on to afterwards would be welcomed, we don't want to make all the choices without more input.

Have a great meet up, Guys. I:m still in Japan, but heading back to Oz tonight.

On the subject of Birmingham, my google news told me this morning that the city has decided to drop the apostrophe in English. Im aghast. Its appalling. I hope Spots going to do something.

Its a catastrophe for the apostrophe in Britain

By MEERA SELVA – 1 hour ago

LONDON (AP) — On the streets of Birmingham, the queen's English is now the queens English.

England's second-largest city has decided to drop apostrophes from all its street signs, saying they're confusing and old-fashioned.

But some purists are downright possessive about the punctuation mark.

It seems that Birmingham officials have been taking a hammer to grammar for years, quietly dropping apostrophes from street signs since the 1950s. Through the decades, residents have frequently launched spirited campaigns to restore the missing punctuation to signs denoting such places as "St. Pauls Square" or "Acocks Green."

This week, the council made it official, saying it was banning the punctuation mark from signs in a bid to end the dispute once and for all.

Ok look lets be honest. Everyone hopes you all have a great time and enjoy yourselves.

But...what were really interested in is who cant hold their liquor and vomits on their pants or better yet someone elses pants.

We want to know who passes out on the front lawn.

We want to know if two or more of you have sex in public then get arrested.

Thats the kind of thing were hoping to hear about.

If you come back and say it was a pleasant social function and the cheeses were spectacular theres going to be a lot of disappointed people around here.

Well, i think the gang will be relieved but i can't make it :-1:-1:-1

Mr O has had a bad chest all week and it's just got worse. I've been awake all night listening to him wheezing.

He's been very ill with cancer and i could go on my own but to be honest, i don't want to leave him at home alone ill. My pal offered to come stay with him so i could go but i don't think i ought to.

If he's better later in the day, i could whizz down on the train in the morning just to catch breakfast with the Fockers. :)

Of course you must stay with him but I'm sorry we'll not see the pair of you this weekend. Tell Peter he'll be in our thoughts.

We are, strangely, all still in one piece though the "taxi" Pinkchick and Immy got into last night had nothing to substantiate its claim, not from where I was stood anyhow, and we've seen nothing of them since. We take it on trust that they're in a position to show this morning and not half-way to Cairo waking up from a Mickey Finn and wondering why the room's swaying.

Anyhow. Porridge. I'm I/C Porridge this morning and nothing's going to bubble if I don't put a flame under it.

Back later.

I am so glad you have just come on. I was wondering what time was too early to phone you so i tried sending a text to you. My phone is now on charge as i forgot to charge it. I got Pete's and can't do predictive text for one so there was loads of spelling mistakes and then it kept failing to send as 'Unrecognised number'.

So after a while, i decided to wait until a respectable time to phone incase you were half way to Cairo after a Micky indeed.

What's it like down there? I went outside to feed the birds and it's bitter here in Bristol.. must be minus at least. You have missed the most beautiful sun-rise i have ever seen over Bristol. The sky was blood red.

If Pete perks up, i could come down later on the express but i'd feel bad to be fair.

I'll pass on your kind message and i'm getting some sleep now.

Please annoy el guapo as much as humanly possible on my behalf. Thankyou. (and get pics)

Did you leave them at home? If you left them at the station i could go and try to get them for you.

Please avoid all collisions with London Traffic Spot. You know what our police are like... you'll be arrested for allowing your head to come into contact with a passing London hackney cab and slightly scuffing the paint work.

I put them down about three hours before I left the house and I hadn't a clue where they were when the time came to leave. I still haven't.

That's exactly what i do. It happens with cats as well in this house.

At least you know they are safe at home. if it's a real problem, you can buy ready readers in Boots quite cheaply as an emergency.

However, the thought of you weaving around London squinting at folk and avoiding transport is rather entertaining.
