Now let's compare it to the video icon in Firefox under Ubuntu to see what that adds :-

ETA OK, it has made a conversion of the string provided but the icon did exactly what typing it manually did.

Could you cut and paste :-

I want my the use of my video icon back. It was so much simpler. Is there a problem with my FG settings? I want you to know that I do appreciate your assistance, Bryn Mawr.

I honestly do not think that it is FG causing the problem - if it was then no-one would be able to post videos.

Looking at the embedded code in your post the link looks odd and pasting it into my browser leads to a failure page. Could you try again and, this time, paste the link into the message and add a couple of spaces to it as I did a few posts back so that I can see what automatic transforms are happening
