I realize that Dr Mercola is not everyones cup of tea, but having had several health issues myself when younger, and not finding relief through drugs and hospitals, I've found some of Dr. Mercola's suggestions very beneficial to my health. In particular I take vitamin D3 and fish oil, items he recommends, as do most doctors these days. These two items about cured a long running GI issue. I've very grateful for that. Good supplements, I only have good things to say about them.

I'm glad he cottoned onto something that helped you, but I don't trust him an inch. The best frauds begin with a truth, and you benefitted from a truth he picked up. But he claims a title that he isn't entitled to. Whether his claim is legal or not, it's unethical. And that makes him a fraud in my book.
