I didn't walk right in the first place because of my RA so I should be used to it. It's already getting easier. I'm trying to resist the urge to get another bath. I am on top of the world that I can get a normal bath again.

Oi, Peg, where's the photo?

I'm glad you've managed to finally have a bath. It reminds me we've reached September, I'm due one as well.

I'm not sure "well done" is appropriate for someone who broke her own leg in the first place but well done, cast gone, don't do it again.

I'm sorry Betty, I had no idea you'd had a seizure, wondering if the fall was connected in some way?

Today I go back to the doctor and hopefully get released so I can go back to work. Then I have an appointment for a disability exam so I don't have to work more than 2 or 3 days a week. I need to get in their system so when the time comes that I am no longer able to work, I won't have to go through it all again. Unfortunately, I think that time will come sooner than I expected.

It sounds like you just need a couple of days now, good luck!

Not sure If this Is a help to you Peg but my husband also suffers these sudden drops In blood pressure and fainting or collapsing. They always come when he Is very worried about some-thing or feels pressured and you have been through so much that the 'pressure' of going back to work and the worry Involved In that could be a factor.

My husbands episodes have been diagnosed as 'Vasovagal' attacks.

Symptoms of Vasovagal attack - WrongDiagnosis.com

This may be of help.

Well, I brought 2011 in with a bang. I had another one of my episodes and at least this time didn't go out completely or break anything. I ate a glucose tablet and by the time the paramedics got blood out of me, took 3 tries, my sugar was 127 which is good. I refused to go to the hospital. I'm calling the doctor first thing Monday morning and insisting different tests be run.

I hope you can re-balance whatever you're taking and stabilize again soon. It sounds like you got off lighter than you might have done in which case congratulations, well done.

Hopefully you feel better soon, Peg.

If you can't find answers maybe try different methods. My father is having wonderful success with TCM and acupuncture treating problems Western doctors said were likely not going to get better.

At this point, I'm willing to try anything. It's quite embarrassing. Living in a small town, the rumors start. Can't wait to hear them at work tomorrow. I think if I ever break a bone again, I'm going to tell them I did it skateboarding or skydiving. LOL Yes, Spot, I do really feel lucky not to have broken any bones this time. Maybe it's just a reminder of how short life really is.

Awww, Peg:-4, I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. Hope you feel better soon.

Let us know how you're doing and take it easy.

Hope you carry your cell phone with you. I had a really bad fall , in my backyard, at the end of October and cracked my head open. I now carry a phone around with me even if I go out into the backyard.
