Are we sure we want to try September under this new regime? Now that we've tried it for four days? It does seem strange.

Anyway - pile in everyone, if we can get consistently more than four or five players we'll have more of a spread. Everyone now gets the same questions as each other, on a given day. I feel I lack an excuse now when I turn in the lowest score.

I spent the entire month ineffectually playing catchup and failing miserably, I have been flattened.

Nobody finds a clean sweep of tens top to bottom even slightly disconcerting?

And the questions are the same for everybody ?

Yes turn it up a bit instead of easiest go up one step and see what happens.

They are.

I have bumped the level off the Easiest to the next one up. And I had no intermediate for Literature so I've ditched it entirely and put in the Ambiguous Pouch, or whatever they call it.

Wouldn't have complained if I had it correct though.

Here's what I found funny. The question "Before the invention of pantyhose, what could one purchase in a plastic egg?" and the answer was putty, which was marketed as Silly Putty and you used the word Silly on your question in this thread. Ok, it was only funny to me............

Ah right. Yeah that's funny. Is silly putty what we would call plasticine, the stuff we had as kids to model funny heads and snakes and stuff ?

When Panty hose started making the market, there was a brand called "L'Eggs" that were packages in plastic eggs.

And Silly Putty is a silicon polymer based stuff that has rather strange properties.

The point of any quiz, surely is to answer as many question as you can. Answering 10 correct from 10 asked is as much as can be expected. While time is necessary to avoid cheating, It must be taken as secondary, of not irrelevant as far as points awarded is concerned.

It's ok. This is generally a rhetorical question. This is nothing we haven't been frustrated by in the past and this isn't about just ths last session. Larsmac lost a point the other day for being 1 second slower.

Someone needs a kick up the arse.

I'm not convinced, not if you have two login identities. One browser only has one cookie store and I think that equates to one login, however many tabs you have open to that webpage.

Well, I wasn't thinking of two sessions on the same trivia server. Though I guess you could have two logins to that sever. one for the forum Garden game, and another for another game sponsored by a different source.

Well, in such a case, one can indeed open a second instance of Chrome, or whatever browser, and select the main page (Fun Trivia Quizzes - World's Largest Trivia and Quiz Site!) and log out of the Forum Garden user, and login with another user, and have both FG and another contest running concurrently.

Or as I do, just go to the main page with the same login and play other games. I participate in a lot of the other games beside FGTrivia.
