Bologna is a lunch meat, it is a pricessed meat. Usually made with Beef and Pork, sometimes with turkey

Sausage biscuit. OK, our bisquits are bready rolls...cut in half sometimes folks put a but of egg, cheese and a flar piece of sausage on it. A great breakfast sandwich.

a) they are my boxers

my partner is driven to the edge of a nervous breakdown by my constant need for laughter , i have had a very hard time the last few years and I've cried tears of sorrow and tears of laughter for me the latter is better , so what if i **** off a few dozen people here and there ,they dont have to read my posts do they ' there are people on this forum that are rude obnoxious and nasty i tend to avoid theirs



for every person that finds you funny there are probably half a dozen who think why do nt that moron grow up but who cares , if i go into my local pub i'm immediately swamped by a dozen people that want to have a laugh your a really funny guy (i always look for your posts )you must get the same but there are always a few that get there drinks and move tables as soon as the laughter flows , we were having a laugh the other day and this one guy just sat there glaring I've never seen him talk to any one he had a skin head and was covered in tattoos , i said mate would you like to join us don't sit on your own all the time make some friends he said no i don't i don't go out to socialise and make friends , i just cracked up what a knob

The word that I grew to hate during my working life was

"PRECEDENT".

I cannot remember the amount of times I have been told on making a request or suggestion, "We don't want to create a precedent."

Yet most of my suggestions/requests came true usually shortly after I had departed a particular company and moved on loosing the benefits of my own suggestion.

Two stick in my mind.

Having wives allowed trips with their husbands for a month or two a year (when we signed on a ship for several years) - The Scandinavians had been doing it before World War II.

Frequently their wireless operators were the wives of one of the officers.

I started in amazement and unbelief on passing a Scandinavian ship in the Straits of Penang in 1953 at a "WOMAN" hanging out her washing on a clothes line completely oblivious of a mass of British eyes staring at her.

NOW you don't even have to be married - girl friends, or should I say "partners" get that privilege nowadays.

The other, more obvious, was shorter trips than anything from one to three years.

Now they can hardly get anyone to go away on a six month trip.

Such are the trials and tribulations of life.

AND MEMORIES.
