I got an idea Mustang....why don't you buy a summer cottage on the beach and call it the Pubnutters Beachcomber and then we all can come and go as we can?!

Well that just sucks! We will have to wait untill the weekend then.
Idgie;910987 wrote: Wouldn't that be so cool! :-6 Come and go as ya please, enjoy grillin and chillin, as Kathy Ellen would say. Whooo hoooo!
That would be the life to have now! KathyEllen must really enjoy herself at the beach. And good for her. ;)Whooo hooo! I can just about see her at the beach with one of them little drinks of hers. The life!!
I wonder how she's making out using her new grill?
I was checking out her drink thread and boy, there sure are some nice drinks posted there to try. I tried a Mojito once but didn't much care for it. I think because it was too minty for me.
She has some real good ones thats for sure. I'am not big on mint myself you have to like mint i guess to enjoy the drink. I will have to ask her how the grill is working out for her. Looks like a real nice one from Sears.
Idgie;911008 wrote: Yeah, I saw the picture she posted of it. Very nice grill. I think she has company this week so they probably are giving it a good workout. Food sure tastes better cooked outdoors!
She got it just in time now, I do a lot of BBQ outdoors and love it. I've been seen outside in the dead of winter justa BBQ away. She has not been around doing any posting that i seen. But heck if she has company i would not be here to.
Wooooohooooo.....KathyEllen is back in da PubNutter's Beachcomber cottage:-4 and so happy to see my friends here......The family was supposed to come down this week but had to make last minute changes, so they're coming down the shore on Thurs or Fri...never sure with them:wah: Sooooooo 2 of my friends who live across the bridge on the mainland....:wah: I love saying that....sound so posh like Carol:guitarist spent a few days here since they had off from work. We had a great time...coffee & fruit on the patio, all day at the beach (even though the weather was not nice) and off to Klees with the bees and Hemingways at night....lovely...
Is this the beach cottage that you're looking at Mustang.....It's lovely:p
My company left at lunchtime today so I took some pics around town. I'll post some pics of my town today in the next post....btw...haven't really used the grill too much as we go out to eat before the town becomes too busy.
Here's pic of our town's marina which is filled with boats now...looks lovely instead of the dreary way it looks in winter with no boats. Also took so pics of the beach....still not busy yet...thank goodness....think people are turned off with the weather.
This is our town's marina showing some of the boats. The last pic is a lovely area where people go crabbing/fishing/sailboating. I love to sit in this little hut during the winter and just look at the bay covered with ice and watch all the birds.
Hi Idgie, Mustang, Duckie, Kathy!! What awesome pictures, Kathy - I love your beach and the whole area. And agree that this lovely little Pub of ours should have a backdoor which leads straight down to the beach cottage, where we can be chillin and grillin - and yacking and dancing... :sneaky:
I took Dieter to the zoo here yesterday. A trillion kids there for the school holidays, but it was great. I'll post some pics.
This afternoon - I'm being bad - skivving off from all domestic and work duties, meeting some girlfriends for a champagne lunch then we have gold cinema* tickets to Sex and the City. It's going to be a tough day!!
*Do you have those in the States? Little expensive cinema salons with big comfy seats, no kids, no popcorn, but waiter service and more champers....

Awesome pics of your beach and town too. Man oh man, look at the white sand. Yes I agree with AussiePam, this Pub DOES need a backdoor which leads us all to these sights!

For the two weeks of his school holidays. He's stretched out in front of the tele as I write, watching a TinTin movie. He discovered TinTin in France and is now as big a fan as his Uncle Mik. The backpacking trip sounds awesome. What a pity you couldn't get to Greece. GRRRRRRRR Tell ya what, why don't we borrow a yacht and staff, and take the Pubnutters on our own little Greek Island wander?
