Was it nice down there today, JAB? I went to DC, the sun didn't come out until late in the morning, but was shining in Baltimore when I left.

Hey Chonsi,

I invite my family and some friends down during the summer since I work too much during the winter. I love to see everyone, but sometimes it's stressful. I don't often have time to change the sheets and someone else arrives with a days notice or not even that. I love the company but need a bit of time to organize sometimes.

Ah, that does give you little time for yourself. I would have a revolving door if they would all come out here, it is too hard for me to go there, but I am going for three days in October.

My family is in L.A., very far away. Only two of the kids here, but they are big too, 21 & 22. I still think when I retire I will go back, we shall see.

Yes, we like to stay where we are comfortable, I kept my home there, I want to go back and have the family around me again.

Yes, I will fly out to an Indian conference, I can't go long, I will stress to leave my husband for even a few days. But it will be a nice thing to do.

I guess I'm glad I planted in my two big containers. My toms are going crazy and I've got parsley, chives & I've already picked some basil.

Oh I just did the big containers this year after reading Yankee magazine and seeing how to really do it good. My huge garden unfortunately is sinking and is a weedy mess at the moment. We're going to take it out next year and start all over again.
