I think we all know someone like that. It's really sad and I feel sorry for them because they try to bring others down so they think it makes them look better. Those are the most insecure people. :(

They are very insecure Shell.

I used to feel sorry for people like that.

Not any more.

I have seen how much damage they do and are doing.

Doesn't make them look any better.

Turns them into a joke that people want to avoid.

Then they are really on their own.

Very sad that they have no self confidence, self esteem, self worth.

Then they feel that hurting others is the way to go:-1:-1

don't we all know people that behave this way?

I'm not sure why they do this, I assume they are seeking attention.

and that's just not the way to do it.

Regular coffee at Tim Horton's is a lot different that regular coffee in Fayetteville ( or anywhere else in the states)

I found a little restaurant in Markham that had the best Lamb Shanks I have ever had.

The cell phone company gets WAY too much money.

Cell phones. Yesterday I was walking along aside street. A half block away some guy came walking toward me on the other side of the street. He was yelling in Spanish. No one else around. He was looking at me. Whatinell's he yelling at me for? I put my hand in my pocket around my knife. As he got closer, still yelling, I see his other hand slapped against his head and realize, HE'S YAPPING ON A GODDAM CELL PHONE. Jeeze Louize, I hate those things.

Waitress at Copeland's says, "Are you still working on that?"

Why do they always ask that?

If it's work, why come they expect me to pay them for the stuff?

I mean, WTF?

Can't they come up with a slightly less STUPID question?

"Are you still enjoying that?"

"are you finished?"

OR, here's a novel idea, Stay the hell away from me until I look like I am finished eating.

Clue: If the plate has food on it, and I have my utensils in my hand then, YES!!! I am STILL WORKING on it!!!

So, I am at a family get-together at a restaurant in Springfield, and REALLY have to take a crap.

The guy before me was one of those good daddies, that knows how to change the kid's diapers, and the rest room has one of those diaper changing stations. I am thinking, as he leaves, "how cool. He is a good dad."

until I get to the stall, to find that the SOB dropped said changed diaper in the commode and flushed it, and I get there just in time to watch the water that can't get past the damned filthy diaper, spilling over the side, onto the floor.

Did I mention that I REALLY had to ...?

[sigh]

At the moment, I'm pissed at my sons, sort of. Seems they give out my phone number when they apply for loans etc. Now, I'm getting calls all day and into the evening by collection agencies. My two daughters don't do that. I'm thinking of changing my number but that would only work for a little while. I did turn off the ringer on the phone, then turned the volume off on the answering machine. I can still see when calls are recorded. That helps keep my blood pressure down.

I can't believe what happened at a Christmas party last night...

They had a laptop set up with music playing randomly. At one point I saw a guy go up and up the volume (which was already considerable). After a short time of barely being able to hear the person next to me, I went over and turned it down. As I walked away and past the guy who turned it up, he gave me the biggest go-to-hell look you can think of and spit out something like "don't f- with my f-ing laptop." I mean he couldn't have been nastier if he tried. I admit I don't have much patience for such blatant obnoxiousness, so I shot back (with a smile) "oh excuse me, I didn't f-ing know it was your f-ing laptop." After a few more calm but similarly pointless exchanges with mr ahole, I finally went "OK look, excuse me; sorry I touched your laptop; this is not worth talking about any more." To which he shot back something like what an f-ing ahole I was, blah blah blah. Thing is I have plenty of things truly worth being upset about right now as it is and so I admit I kind of semi-snapped and just looked right at the guy and calmly but firmly said "f you" - to which (surprise) he suggested we go outside. I'm ashamed to admit I was tempted, but at this point people were starting to take notice and besides not wanting to disrupt the party, IMO there are few things worth fighting about and needless to say this doesn't make the list, which is basically what I said to him. He tossed one more pissy remark at me to which I just shook my head and went "Merry Christmas."

He then picked up his ball (laptop) and went home.

It's just unbelievable to me that someone would have such a warped perspective on life that they would have such a hissy fit about something so trivial. I later heard from others that he's known for being a quick-tempered putz. Figures I would bump into one at a holiday party; God forbid I should just be able to go and have a nice time and that's it.

sort of pissed off with myself . I bought a PS for my son. he just sat me down to play 'smackdown 2010' wrestling. .....My boys are now impressed with me ...but I am shamed. Violence should only come out when absolutely neccesary. I admit I got carried away. Oh dear.!!!

.........Hey the guy on the screen was hitting me !!!! So I hit him back again and again and again...then I put him in a hold and hit him again ....then I threw him out of the ring ..then I got out of the ring and hit him again....My boys are in the background saying ...." GO MUM" ....I'm like Uh Oh ..........Not good and apparently won the match . I don't think I'll play that again.

G Force is next on the Wii............god help my childrens upbringing. How much devastation can hampsters create?:-3

What a pain! But like Odie said, the bank will sort it out.

When I was at Uni, I received a grant cheque that was about £10 short. I was desperately short of cash at the time and very happy to receive it as I had 2 little ones to feed. So I put it in the bank and drew some money out to go grocery shopping.

Next day I had a phone call from the bank asking why I had drawn money out as the cheque had been cancelled? I had to get onto student services and found that as the first cheque was £10 short, instead of them just sending me a second cheque for £10, they revoked the whole of the first cheque and reissued me with a new one to include the extra £10!

Luckily the bank were understanding! *whew*

Mad bunch of jobsworths!
