No, it's not too bad humidity wise by me. Have been seeing light rain since about 7am and a light breeze. We sure need the rain. The trees a shedding leaves like Fall from being stressed out from no rain.

That's not good. We do need the rain as it's been a bit dry here as well. I came home from the beach about 3 weeks ago and just stuck the hose in my huge container of tomatoes, basil, parsley & oregano and forgot about it. Guilty, I was on here:wah: and finally turned off the hose about an hour later.
But when we came home last week, my garden container had exploded with all the goodies and looks fantastic.

Oh no he didn't have the whole month, me & the kids did. He commuted up to work every week for 2 weeks and then took the last 2 weeks off.

You okey dokey down there, JAB? Lots of rain, once in a while gusts-and the kids all just went out to work or somewhere!
And fed-ex is supposed to drop off my package today, a new violin! Good grief! Wait until Monday!
Someone's gutter is ready to fall off as I look out the glass windows....don't go into my yard!

or through your window. I have battened down the projectionaries out back/front and moved the truck. I'm sure my little pumpkin out back will welcome the rain and is protected from the wind.:p

No, just one. I threw a pumpkin in the backyard last fall and it reseeded itself and we now have a little pumpkin growing back there. I noticed the leaves when I came home from the beach and investigated. How neat is that?

It was really awesome to find a treat back in the corner. I also planted morning glories last year and they are growing this year all over my front yard in containers, etc. I suspect birds/squirrels have repaid my kindness for throwing them leftover bread.:wah:

It sounds like a nice garden. I was lazy this year, and didn't plant anything but poppies, and they didn't grow for the first time.

Wow, I'm glad the wind isn't going for you too much, JAB. It is howling here, wind gust 50-65 mph. (the top of that gutter on the house in back is hanging, I wonder what they will be doing tomorrow....................)
