I found it.

One of the best-known symbol of Roman neoclassicism is the Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II or "Altar of Fatherland", where the grave of the Unknown Soldier, that represents the 650,000 Italians that fell in World War I, is located.

Any ideas?
It's Il Vittoriano which isn't far from the Colosseum. I took a photo of it and my brother messed about with it on Photoshop. I'll try to find it

I just eat everything but the turkey, myself. I never got into tofu but you can make a tofu "turkey" loaf. As long as there was a ton of stuffing, I was happy. I love stuffing!!

I'm sure lots of veggie sites have their versions of a Thanksgiving meal. Try Googling "vegetarian thanksgiving." :)

I see. Mom did poke it up the turkey. I liked it fine but I like stove top stuffing too. I guess dressiing would describe it too. I love the jellied cranberry sauce but some folks always make the kind from fresh cranberries. I might make a raisin pie to go with it. I like that as well as mince pie.

The school is having their Thanksgiving dinner in the cafeteria this coming Thursday. I like that too. I sometimes buy a smaoked turkey in frozen state then defrost it but really it tastes more like ham than it does turkey. 9 pund one is just about $10.

Okie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So nice to see you. I think I prefer real turkey any day. Did once try tofurkey with Frannie, I think... Hoping to celebrate Thanksgiving here this year, in solidarity with my American family.. grin... bit complicated this year as Mik and Romy will both be in Paris then. Lucky ducks. Their first trip. It's Mik's birthday and Romy is treating him. Wish I could be there with them Just finished supper here, fresh pasta and chicken liver and sage sauce. To die for... ahhhhh....
