Why do people say "pouring rain" anyway? Isn't that redundant? Like what else would it be pouring? Bricks?

Snow is so rare here, no one knows how to drive in it and the city is not ready ever. I think this one is about the biggest ever saw here. Maybe one in the past was larger. Its already melting. The temp is not very high but direct sulight melts it anyway. I think ground heat stored up is melting it too.

ok. i'm outta here for the day. probably for the weekend. my dept is havng their "holiday" party tonight. the company is picking up the tab for the evening. hell yeah.

then tomorrow night, is the Big XII Championship game. where my beloved HUSKERS are gonna kick the snot out of Sheryl's teensy-weensy Sooners of Oklahoma.
