I spent a lot of my summers growing up in the mountains of Idyllwild CA.

I have taken care of ill family members and friends since I was 14.

I did not throw my hat at graduation, but instead, traded with my best friend.

I have a lot of 8's in my cellphone number.

5. I've seen a lot of messed up things in my life, bad things not just happening to me but to others close to me. If I could go back in time and change them, I wouldn't.

I don't consider having these experiences as a weakness but as character builders, making me stronger. They help me understand people better, and challenge me to make a difference so others don't have to experiance similar pains.

Hoo boy. Going to try mightily to dampen the self-edit, otherwise what's the point?

1. I make friends easily, even when I'd rather not. I'm more comfortable with 'acquaintances' because the investment isn't as dear. On the whole, I distrust others' motivations.

2. I have a highly-developed sense of olfactory memory. My nose is like a time machine. Make sense?

3. Goth girls and hippy chicks drive me mad. In the good way.

4. I commute to work via bicycle at least three times per week, and more often five. When I began cycling I thought I was joining a sort of rolling social club, but soon found that I can't stand most other cyclists (arrogant, thoughtless scoff-laws that they apparently are).

5. I worry that I'm not as upstanding a person as I would wish.
