Well, that's just a difference of perception...

To blatantly be rude and offensive after someone had posted their preference to not hear anything particularly hateful pertaining to the topic in general, then one can see that as being personally disrespectful of their own preference and a lack of respect given towards that preference ultimately insinuating quite clearly that you feel their opinion on the matter is unworthy of respect...

The fact of the matter is, you were goading them and had done so without being instigated, after the OP had blatantly, and nicely I might add, asked to not be offensive...Yet you couldn't help yourself...

Don't you see that she (sorry can't remember her name) saw your post as a personal attack? Go back and read it with fresh eyes. It doesn't really matter that you didn't mean it that way. It's easy to see why she took offense.

To be honest, I am of the opinion that the original thread and this thread should be put on the compost heap, no one wants to see the rows being prolonged, it just makes for bad viewing.

Wrong doing was done on the MJ thread by quite a few people, who cares???? I don't, just bin it all.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but the key word here is respect.

It's not right to post nasty comments, and start to name call, make jokes and offend people on purpose.

That unkind and cruel.

A healthy discussion is good but to make fun of someone's spellings and question someone's beliefs is very shallow IMO.

I know you and I are mates now, but I didn't ask for views at all.

I just asked if there were any fans here.

I didn't ask "what do you think of MJ" and to talk about the fact that he was proven innocent.

I am not naive enough to make a thread like that, as I know what many people think of him.

But I so know many people like him, hence my thread. lol

I asked for the thread to be locked/deleted but it hasn't been.

All I can say to everyone is that I am so sorry for making that thread in the first place.

I left a MJ forum to come here and I wasn't prepared I guess.

At the end of the day, I went to the music section, I really didn't expect the reaction I got.

It wasn't my intention to start a war lol. But boy, did I get one.

I still think members were totally out of order but like someone said here, lets put it behind us and move on.
