If it is category 4 child pornography then it does mean rehab was a waste of time. In all honesty 8 years is a very short time.

I think they should not have come out.

Our justice system is such a farce that if people knew I am sure stupid Gordon Brown and his fellow cronies would find some way out for him.

I think the best thing would be for him to face trial and then go back to prison and face time. I do think that whoever said he was not a risk should be sacked as their judgement has led to more innocent child victims.

I am the same age as Venables and at their age I did things that were wrong and tried to hide it. Hiding it is an admission of guilt. The fact that they tried to make it look like an accident means they know that it was wrong!

It is true that only minor details were released but face it putting batteries up a poor little babies bottom is not normal and something seriously has to be wrong.

Venables apparently stated during an interview that Thompson kept throwing bricks at Jamie and laughed is that normal?!:mad:

I know that much of the finer details of turture to Jamie were kept from the public.

You seem to have an Insight Into his torture and Injuries that I noticed In your first post. Are you conected to the Bulger Family? You don't have to state It here, you can private message me If need be.

One of other child killers Mary Bell did not go to the horrific lengths that Thompson and Venebles did to Jamie Bulger however, Jamie's killers sadistic torture Is similar to the case of The Eddlington Boys. Although Mary Bell killed at the age of ten, she did not torture but she did come from a toxic background also. Isn't It about time we started seeing the excuse for parents of these killers stand trial also?

Hi Oscar sorry I am not related I saw about the bricks on another forum I will try and locate it.

I just remember when it happened my brother was 3 and my mum was always so nervous when out with him.

I am however the same age as Venables and Thompson and knew what was right from wrong when it happened!

I have a daughter and she is taken to school by me and into her classroom. I would hope that if she for any reason left school that the teachers would call me, I woul be very angry with her an not accept that kind of behaviour.

I believe the boys were said to be roaming the streets late at night and watching category 18 films! This is down to the parents, I think but am not sure that one was on drugs and the other abusive, social services should never have left a child in the situation!

I'll give you an example of parents.

Two nights ago we heard some noise outside our house. My husband went out to find a child of around 8 years old throwing stones at our cat In the garden. My husband as usual does not rant and rave at kids such as this but talked to him about how the cat could have been killed etc. This was around Half midnight. A slightly older girl apologised to my husband for his behaviour and said It was because he had been without his medication for two days and he had the mental age of 5 years old. Concerned, my husband asked the girl where they lived and took them home. Was the mother thankfull? NO... she rallied on my husband and told him that It was none of her business that her kid was roaming the streets at half midnight. He said 'It Is my business when your child Is hurling rocks at my cat In my garden'. Her answer to that was 'You shouldn't let your cat out then' !!!!

My husband was so concerned about this boy he Imformed the local police about him.

When you have parents like that, It's why the country Is going down the toilet. I have always believed that Thompson, Venebles and the Eddlington boys will not be one off's. All the time this country spawns the parents that my husband encountered, we will see more child crime.

That is awful half midnight crikey! Parents like that shouldn't be allowed children, unless they can be bothered to take care of them.

It is sad when I was little we lived in a cul de sac and all used to play out on our bikes and toys now I wouldn't dream of letting my children out it's not safe, and my daughter would never be allowed to roam the streets. My children also learn to respect things including me and animals there is no need for violence like that.



If I was that mother I would be ashamed and mortified. When my daughter was little if I had a bath and she didn't have one with me I would shut her in the bathroom with me or lock the stairgate so she was with me or next door in her room.

At least the local police thanked my husband for taking him home. They are speaking to Social Services about the mother.

In my family, every child Is given a pet very young. My young nephew has just got his first cat. They are educated Into the animals needs and they are responsible for feeding It and caring for It. I do believe this gives children a caring of animals later In life.

I don't blame you at all for being so cautious with your daughter. They can be snatched In the blink of an eye. We lived half a mile from where Sarah Payne was snatched. I was lucky In that I grew up In the leafy suberbs where folk could leave their doors open and children could play In the streets but now we have this useless Government who has systematically destroyed that community spirit by relasing the likes of Venebles and the mentally Ill only for them to re-offend.

Even when your child makes friends at school, you have no Idea what their parents are like, what medication the kid Is on etc etc. It's funny because my father used to vet my pals and we fell out many times over him being too protective but when I look back, He did me many favours.

The Situation will not change until we change the Government.
