Amazing! The Kid's learnt to use sounds to "echo-locate". Bats also use sharp clicks, though these are ultrasonic. I can still hear bats clicking as they chase insects, so I'm happy enough with my ears!

I remember seeing Stephen Wiltshire, many years ago on BBC TV, when he was a boy with unbroken voice. He was shown the Houses of Parliament, taken back to the studio and he set about drawing this very intricate building. I cannot remember how long it took him to do his wonderful drawing but it was within an hour, if I'm not mistaken. His drawing was as accurate as a photograph ! His command of the perspective was brilliant! Totally mind-blowing! I've tried to find a video of this programme but failed, so far, unfortunately.

If these skulls were full of brain tissue, there's a fair chance that when alive, the "owners" were rather more intelligent than us, as intelligence takes (usually) a sizeable leap when the brain develops beyond approx.800 cc's.
More research needed, though.

The gold South American "ornaments" are clearly NOT insects or birds, as none of these have a vertical stabilizer or rudder (whichever it is). Interestingly, the one featured here was analyzed by an aeronautical engineer who stated that if this "ornament" was built to conventional aircraft construction standards using modern materials and equipped with a jet engine, it would fly!! This object is listed as an OOPART ( out-of-place artifact).
Interesting topic, especially as MODERN powered flight has only just passed it's 100th birthday....
Well, they went and did just that!! And, of course, Mr Von Daniken would be involved!:wah: As I've already said earlier, some of his theories are thought provoking and basically sound. This one's solid gold! (If you'll pardon the pun)

I too have found Von Daniken's writings very enthralling and thought provoking, and whereas many critics of his work have been very scathing, in my opinion these people seem to be very narrow-minded. Although he does stretch some stuff, there is an awful lot more that is very plausible and near the mark.

Yes, none of the other authors seem to get as near to the crux of the theory as Von Daniken, though not for want of trying. Maj. Keyhoe makes some very interesting observations though, especially about UFO's, Project Blue Book (formerly Project Sign) and Majestic 12 (the supposedly unbiased group set up to investigate the veracity of these UFO reports).

I find it difficult to believe that an examiner, who would need to be an experienced driver, wouldn't be able to immediately recognise that the car was obviously under the control of someone who knew what they were doing & recognised it to be a prank.

If I got into a car with a sweet and innocent-looking young lady behind the wheel, L plates fore and aft, and a somewhat under-confident demeanour, and clumsy car control, I doubt that I would have "sussed" the ploy until she revealed her not-inconsiderable drifting skills! That's the point when I'd be challenging her to a contest!! ( 15 or so years ago, I used to be a performance Kart-race instructor, though this was weekends only).
Even IF the instuctors were "in the know", it's still an amusing clip, IMO. I love a highly competent showoff!! :-6

84.4mph? That's nothing. I was stopped once doing 130mph on the M25 (and the cop didn't even mention my speed - phew). But 84.4mph. If they're honest, most motorway users have cruised at much more than those sort of speeds. When I was going to Christchurch on the A35 on Marcus last week - fair enough, Marcus can only make 53mph, but even when I was going at full throttle I still had traffic overtaking me as if I were standing still.

But Bodrodz was in a gravity racer, no engine at all! For my money, 84.4 MPH in a glorified kiddykart is quite something, as is not being "hung out to dry" by the police for doing 130mph, you spawny fellow!:wah:

But it's BIG.
Not sure about the supposed UFO splashing into the ocean, or the assumption that it's a UFO base, but the structure itself looks artificial. Maybe it's truly ancient and was on the old shore-line before sea-levels rose?
