Except the birds really blew it in that game against the cards. McNabb missed it again...they usually drop the ball when they get into the finals.

Boy now that would have been one heck of a game if the Eagles would have made it into the play offs. :)

GO STEELERS..............Number 6 for the steel town boys if they win. :)

Yes it will be nice Idgie!

Ward will be playing in Sundays game he's been working on his knee around the the clock and says it's just fine for Sundays game. Palamalu is light on his feet and fast that boy can run from one side of the field to the other in no time. :)

I'm very hungry today. I think we are just going to make small portions of the finger foods for us.

Mustang I used the pressure cooker last night to make mashed potatoes. OMG, couldn't believe how fast they cooked up. Easier to use then I thought.

I'm just starting out with it and testing it. I made mashed potatos last night and instead of boiling the potatoes I put them in the cooker. They were boiled/steamed in about 10 min. Way better than the old routine of boiling water and waiting about 35 min.:)

okay, so its a steamer, much better way to cook, keeps the flavour in.

wow, 10 minutes is awesome!

I was thinking of that thing people use for fries and I have always been so afraid of them.

A Fry Daddy thingy. Yeah, we used to have one of them and you could save the oil in it for a couple of frys. It got tossed after a month...gave it to Purple Heart.

I had one for years, but hubs wasn't ever thrilled with it. We mainly used it for warming up a cup of coffee or popcorn. And we both weren't thrilled with defrosting. The kids loved it, but............it died finally. Have been microwave free for 2 years now. Don't miss it.

We have one but don't use it too much, unless we heat leftovers.

Have you seen the weather forecast for Monday yet? I'm sure hoping this new storm goes south of us. If it does, your area and up the coast to KE will get hit hard. They say this is one major storm coming through.
