I'm not sure about the morris dancing. Though we have things like the Helston Flora and the Padstow thingy whatsit where people dance around. I'm a closet dancer i.e. don't but would love to...

It's a bit after 4pm here. Grin. Still sunny outside, but starting to get cooler fast. I took my daugher down to Polperro last 1 May (saw the Green Man there- will dig out a pic in a moment - it was her 21st birthday - a real Queen of the May) and also saw a most wonderful maypole!! Which is what we goddesses get to dance around I guess, all dressed in white or green and crowned with flowers. tlw

I'm one of the more reserved goddesses...I don't make a big thing of my status, I just quietly goddess around, doing good and being beautiful...and modest.

Isn't it strange? Me here, in England, at 8.00 in the morning, Pam in Australia at 4.00 in the afternoon and you, in America, at 3.00 in the morning...and we are all communicating like this...it really is incredible, and heartwarming.

The way I make it is to fry up cooked mashed potato and cabbage. I often mix it with an egg before frying but that's probably not the traditional way.

There are some political things going on with a few of the bigger clubs in this area and Canada. I can't get into detail, but the clubhouse has to be guarded 24/7 for a while. His tour was last night. 3 brothers at a time, one sleeping, one on cameras and one in the crow's nest, then they rotate.



I guess that means I have TLW for now. Now all we need is Theia. :-4

Tis a dull Wednesday morning here in Cornwall...I've had my dose of x-pipes (Somebody 21 hasn't played it yet and I'm trying to keep ahead before s/he does!), my cat is fed and has taken to his daily bed behind the sofa and now I must away to the bath...

looks like tlw could do with a good scrub down too, so I'll take him with me...

(I'm always worried about using an expression that might mean something different in America...hope "scrub down" isn't one of those!)
