Funny enough, that was one of things I think people were moaning about.
Obviously it did go on in 'the good ole days':D
Thanks Far, you just backed up one of my points!
I was being good Pinks as I felt as though some of my posts had contributed to someone leaving, and i felt kinda bad, but the old saying is true a leopard can't change it's spots! Anyway it's FUN

Hi 911!
Funny, I don't think of you as a newbie but I do understand the point you've made and you are correct. It can be a bit hurtful although it's not meant to sound that way. Everyone was a new person here once! New people inject new opinions and ideas, new blood into the forum, so if you want to say something that's already been said or post on something that was posted before, do it anyway!

Otherwise more new people might not even see a really good thread because it's been hiding in the archives.

I've been here a while, a year I think, but my posts are nothing compared to those that have come after me!
But thanks for the reminder that I need to be more pro-active. I don't get a chance in here often and when I do, I have a blast.
(Good Lord, I just looked and it's been two years since I joined!)

You borrowed Jimbo's wig?? That explains a lot. All I need do now whenever I picture him is to put the wig back in its right place and he looks so much hairier.

I just done wrassled me a bar. Had to wake him first of course - but no problemo! Then I skied almost over a squirrel. Durn thang thought the woods belonged to him.... :sneaky: Canadian squirrels!! Those critters got better manners in Oz, know when to skedaddle. .... Oh, we don't have squirrels??? Pity. I like them.
I'm in Silver Star, just outta Vernon in BC - and it's pelting the white stuff. Watched the local hockey team get clobbered last night. We nearly didn't get a match at all as the Vernon Vipers and the Kelowna West Side team decided to have an all out fisticuffs scenario up front. .. The audience was evenly divided between panting enthusiasm and shocked disdain.
Back into the fray......... I've rocks to jump, trees to meet and greet, drifts to sink into, ice to skid on, abysses to faceplant down - all of course with the expected goddess-like grace and style that one feels it is one's duty to display, particularly in foreign parts.
