Yes, it's a Ford Focus Estate. Good make of car and at least we'll be able to get parts. Had to buy British of course :wah:

Oh I've been known to bark at the kid next door for ripping the heads off my daylilies...do it again, etc. and I'll have the sitter spank you. The sitter can't stand him either...little brat. I told this kid he could have an argument with 'Mulder' without a fence between them and i knew who would win. Even worse, his mate was peeing against my fence. Every day this week has been lovely. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous. beautiful, bright and sunny, hot but not too hot, just perfect really. We've been out playing cricket with the kids every day and they're really enjoying it as they haven't played it before.

After cricket we took the year 5's (9 & 10 year olds) swimming. We walked a couple of miles to the local pool walking down back streets to get there and avoiding the main roads if we could. We walked past lovely gardens full of flowers, it was the perfect weather for a nice stroll and we only had to remind them to keep in if other people needed to pass us and tell them to pay attention as they crossed the roads (limited attention span *sigh*). They had fun in the pool and then another lovely sunny walk back to school in time for lunch.

This afternoon we made gingerbread men because we are celebrating the official opening of our new school hall tomorrow. The hall has been painted and renovated. We have new kitchen equipment and the old picnic bench style lunch tables have been replaced with more sociable and inviting circular tables with separate bright yellow chairs. It looks really lovely. So the gingerbread men (made by every class in the school) will be laid out all over the tables for the official opening.

We also did some work out in the sun between making batches of gingerbread.

Tomorrow, won't be so good as I have a morning hospital appointment and will sadly miss the official opening. Bummer! Still, apart from that it's been a really good week...and mainly because of the weather. :-6
