Something I, Nomad did this am is going into a closed door session this afternoon with a district judge to weigh on and decide if it was a valid legal maneuver.
I am single handedly responsible for annoying the upper tier of society !
This is my proudest moment. :-6

Between the green bottle flies and skeeters messin about, everyone woke up with tons of bites.....feel like we were in a war zone....have tons of painful bites all over our legs...thanks goodness for benadryl and caladryl to ease the pain.
effin flies and skeeters....I'm ready to wage war on them:-5

Today has been the first day in quite a while that I have been able stand up straight with no pain.
I've had a good sunday - spent some time here with friends that mean a lot to me.
I visited some friends - went for a nice drive, but most of all - I've made contact in some way or another with people that I love.
Ok - I'm gonna stop being mushy

Hi Sunny,
Map pencils are colored pencils...think they were originally used to color in parts of maps....they were neater than crayons.

Geeze Chonsi,
Where did the summer gooooooo:-5
You go back very early. When do you get out at the end of the year?
I don't start back until Sept 2nd but we don't get long holidays any more and get out earlier in June.
I'll be spending all of next week setting up my classroom and shopping for new clothes and supplies....I'm so thrilled....just heard that one of my best friends is coming back to teach 3rd grade:guitarist
Good luck to you Chonsi on your 1st day back:-4

Hey Chonsi,
I know that this might seem a little wack-a-doodle, but do you think your class might like to do a science experiment with my little third graders? I have some thoughts and think it might be fun to do in the spring....
Something simple like doing the same experiment and sending some pics and writing samples of the experiment...or such....with permission from the parents of course.
Think about it.....

Oh Kathy, that sounds cool. I am sure we both have loads of cool science experiments to pick from. That made me happy to think about, since I am dragging my feet thinking about going back to school. My stuff is ready, 6 big bags of it in the one room. Oh yes, do think about it.

Oh Chonsi,
This will be a very cool activity for my little ones to dwell upon..... They will love it. I will talk to my principal and parents in Sept. on "Back to School" night and see how they feel about it.
Maybe if all goes well....I can have my kidlets write a note to your kidlets to introduce themselves.....This writing activity will not happen immediately, but it's amazing how quickly the kids learn to use the computer and learn how to use spell/grammar check. Our district has given us a tech lab JUST for the kids and teachers...you sign up and use 30 new computers...WOW....love it.
I'm so excited...we'll chat about it :-6:-6We could become cyber buddies if all works out....
I have to get my act together for next week...have some bb ideas and activities on the go.....

have told the landlady that the gutters are blocked but they would obviously rather pay for someone to repair the boiler than someone to unblock the gutter
