WILMA sucks! "6" million Floridians are without electricity!!! And it was said that they will most likely not get it back for at least 2 weeks or more! My Daughter & her family were right in the middle of it, & her street is blocked by many fallen trees! What a nasty mess! Not too much damage was done to her house, but all the screens around her enclosed pool were ripped off! 2 trees were downed on her property. She was out again this morning trying to get water & ice, but again could not get any. The few gas stations with electric gas generators, had cars ligned up for miles. Still don't know if she got any gas at this posting! She runs the car & plugs in her Cell phone to charge up her "Cell" phone battery!!! :-5

Luckily, my Condo in the same area there was undamaged, only a few trees downed on the property! Makes you stop & think, what's it all about Alphie?

I Just Had A Random Thought But This Is Not An X-rated Forum, So I Had Better Keep It To Myself.

Some yrs ago myself and a couple others were selling Xmas trees under a tent on a corner. It was cold and windy and we had an empty 55 gl drum that we'd throw the tree trunks we cut off the bottom and light em up to keep warm. Two of the guys smoked a joint and were standing around the fire warming our hands shooting the breeze when the wind picks up part of the flame and starts the grass on fire. That started more little fires, there must have been about twenty of them just like that. So like the geniuses we were we thought hey ! we should put those fires out before all our trees burn up. We were like that. All sharp witted and what not.



One of the guys who was stoned was wearing leather lace up boots, the kind that go up to mid calf, so anyhoo the lot of us were running around this field stomping out all these fires with our feet. As soon as we'd get one out another would start and we were getting a little nervous because we couldnt keep up. Well I look up and the guy with the boots on is on fire. Literally on fire. His boot was engulfed in flames and the fire is climbing up his leg, his pants are on fire ! But hes just standing there looking down at himself on fire.



We were just as bad, we're standing there watching him watching himself on fire. No one said anything we just watched. Then he looks up and says Im on fire. You had to be there but it was just too funny. I ended up running over there knocking him down and ripping his boot off and hes was fine, some blistering I think.

Ill never forget that.

We were shooting some kind of commercial or industry video for a bank. I work in video production! It's not nearly as glamerous as it sounds. I spent a lot of time kneeling on concrete trying to be absolutely quite. Thrilling.

I'll Bet You Get To Meet Some Strange People, Don't You?? Also Some Royal Pain In The Rear. Any Interestion Stories That You Would Like To Share.

Not really anything specific, but it is interesting because the business is kind of family oriented, and we're all very very close. Also, these are people who are very into cameras and photography. So when you're in someone's house babysitting or you're just hanging around you wonder: am I being taped as part of a secret documentary? I swear I went through every room in this one guy's house once while housesitting to see if he'd left any cameras out. I was paranoid! Also, when you work in the business you have to be very detatched...it's considered bad to give work to friends/family because it should be fair and easy for everyone to get work. So sometimes we go on shoots and we have to pretend we're different people, or you've learned how to do audio/lighting/prompter/producing two minutes prior and you have to pretend you've been doing it for ten years. And people think actors have to play a lot of different characters! Try working BEHIND the scenes! Yesterday I had to be a "hand model" on very short notice...I did a quick ten minute manicure and proceeded to pretend I knew the product I was demonstrating. I had no clue. It was fabulous.

Damn, Steph, it may not be "glamorous" as you say, but it sure sounds like a hell of a lot of fun! (Except for the worrying about being filmed part, that would make me crazy.)

hows sicker, me for saying something random or you for taking a whole other meaning to what i say...i don't get it.

You know the word Random in the topic just opens a whole new can of worms...so to speak and we are a mass universe of different minds, body and perversions...so what is norm for you is sicko to another and vice versa...some may even consider it kinky..shrug.



At the moment however I live to fluff my pillow, each nite I lay awake looking at the wrong person Im suppose to be with and he treats me miserably, so my pillow gets twisted, punched, cried upon and hugged quite often. It wont be long though till I can give it a life it deserves...to be laid upon without fear...
