Donna not knowing what has been happeneing just lately while I have been getting used to my laptop I don't know what to say in reply to your recent e.mail, thanks for your email earlier in the week.

What beautiful weather we are having a real treat to get the washing out on the line for a change.

Tony is still hanging on, he now has patches to stem the pain and oral morphine too, I am lucky if I can get him to eat a small yoghurt a day and fluids I have to give him from a syringe, he must have an amazing constitution especially losing so much weight.

Well had best press on hope those I haven't mentioned personally are all keeping o.k, enjoying whatever they are doing etc etc.

Hi Joan ! Lovely to see you posting when you can manage it. Thinking of you and Tony, and little Sophie - loved the photo XXX

Neils sister and her husband are coming over at the end of the month, and i have been invited over to my cousins in Yorkshire England. I feel i need to go, if not just for the break and to recharge my batteries. Neil won't be alone but i don't want to leave him, i don't know what to do. Even though i'm crying buckets here writing this i feel as though it is of some comfort to me actually putting my thoughts down in words, i hope you all don't mind?

I'll sign off now and say Goodnight and God Bless to everyone, and i'm sorry for being such a misery.

Hello each, I got back a few hours ago, from my day out to Derbyshire. We went to Ilam (ILAM) in Dovedale, and some other lovely places. It was a lovely day and although I didn't feel 100%, I went and I enjoyed it ! Except when I came all over woozy and my right calf started to ache like hell ! Not bloody fit, that's me ! Chris had to walk back to the carpark and fetch the car to me to pick me up from where I was sitting on a convenient garden seat ! :o Consequently he decided to come back home, but I think we would not have been too much longer anyway, because we wanted to beat the 'rush hour'. Anyway I'm not too bad, although I still feel drained. :(

Pic 1 - View of Dovedale (Thorpe Cloud is just showing to the right). This is a very popular place for Hangliding !

Pic. 2 - Ilam Hall (part of)

Pic 3 - The River Dove, a few hundred yards downhill from Ilam Hall

Pic 4 - A little stone bridge over the River Dove

Pic 5 - Thorpe Cloud, Dovedale

Hello Gill:-4

Ahhhhhh, hope you feel better soon.

Your pic are absolutely awesome , and I have to keep looking at them. Please excuse my ignorance, are these pics in Cornwall?

I've only spent some time in Hollyhead, Wales and London a few times. One day I must really spend more time touring many places in the UK. (there's too many for me to visit) For all the years that I've travelled and spent summers in Ireland, I've never been to Northern Ireland, originally due to the troubles. Now, when I visit Ireland I have so many rellys to see in the south, but plan to visit the north next summer, 2009. Pinkchick, I'm comin to see ya ok...be prepared:p Hope you can meet us for a jar.

Hi Kathy Ellen ! Thanks for the wishes xxx

I took these today 8 May on our car day trip to The Peak District in Derbyshire, an area called Dovedale. The Peak District is so beautiful. It is only about 1 1/2 hours by car to get there from our house !

Onions and garlic are dandy.

As long as your man is not handy.

Kissing is sweet.

But not so neat.

When the hubby is so randy.

Mustang,

I am such a big fan of Rachel and would love to just sit down and have a cosmo with her and hubby.

My sis in law had tickets for her show (I couldn't go:mad::mad::mad:) and they had a blast. They said that she was so natural and funny.

I live so close to New York.... (70 miles)I really need to plan ahead and book tickets for some of these shows on "Food Channel" and the judge shows....love Judge Judy and Judge Milian (?Sp).

hey Ducks...we should book some food channel shows, meet in NY, and then go to our favorite restaurants for some tucker. My fav restaurant is Becco's. It's owned by Lidia and her son Joe. Have you been there?
