Yeah, my grandma has a DNR signed too. Her poor old body is wearing out....but what else can you expect at 91. :-4 It sounds like you made the right decision about your mom, it's a very painful and thing knowing that if they stop breathing they'll just die. Just keep in mind how she will be going to a better place...one with no pain and a sharp mind. You know I'm always available to you to talk to, but I check my e-mails a lot more than FG.

I know your always here for me, and it was a hard decision as in previous decisions we always opted for full care if anything should happen.

but with so much deterioration, we now want what is for best for her, not for us.

Thanks nok, you're pretty cool yourself! You so right, I do go to the doctors a lot. Next Friday, the 13th, they are going to do a couple more tests to see if I may need back surgery again. One of the tests could be very painful...not looking forward to that one at all! :(:-5:-5

I am so exhuasted from all the trama that I've been dealing with for almost 2 weeks now. People have told me things that have been said, or things that have been done...I don't remember so much of it. I finally had to leave my home today to take care of things that I just couldn't put off any longer. I can't believe how much a funeral and burial cost. But a lot worse is I never could have imagined how much intense pain is caused by having to bury the love of my life...my soul mate.

My mom has been really good since she knows what it's like to lose your husband that you love so much (my dad was awesome!) Everytime I think I'm going crazy I call her and she assures me that I'm not and she went thru so many of the same things. My girls have been keeping a close eye on mom too...they're such good daughters. :-4
