You can find them anywhere there's cows.
The poop dries into a big "chip." Sometimes people have throwing contests.

Entertainment must be hard to come by in some places in america. Here it's so damp that they stay too soogy for that kind of sport. We have cow pats instead.

When it's cold I expect they do. You need to understand I don't spend my life watching cows go to the toilet. Where you live must be really boring, in fact I don't know any farmers that find it that interesting either.
It's when you have sheep and cattle, it's raining and you are going mountain biking that it gets a bit much. One of the things you learn early on is that if you have to go though a green puddle keep your mouth shut and wearing protective glasses is not just posing even if they do match your shorts. yeugh!
Thanks to your post I am now having to cope with an image of hordes of americans in the mid west zooming around the country in their SUV's looking for cows crapping because their TV is so bad it's actually more entertaining.

It's not about fast food. It's done in a cow pasture late at night. Actually tipping the cows over. Rumor has it. I wouldn't know from experience.

Don't feel bad. I've even heard of being able to smell the sweet smell of cow chips while eating chipped beef for breakfast. No that's country. :guitarist

I think "creamed beef" and "ChiptBeef" are different animals, so to speak. I wonder how many times a thread has started off talking about one thing, then turned to something else? If I could get $10.00 for everytime that happened, my entire family would be retired right now.

I think a three-way split. One third for you, as the "celebrity," one third for Lon for starting the thread, as the "producer" and one third for me for posting the idea.

This has actually happened to me. I worked at the Green Giant co. in Glencoe Mn for about 2 and a half days yrs ago. Me and like 9000 other Mexican migrant workers. There were 17,000,000,000,000 sq miles of corn in all directions and when you went out for a smoke there he was. The Green Giant guy towering over you. Watching so you didnt go over your 5 min in a 12 hr shift break.
They sure had a lot of corn in that place !

Accountable you were the one that brought up cow chip throwing. I don't think I want to know what how you cream beef and why Nomad would want to. Mind you we go in for caber tossing which like golf must have very strange origins. If you are bored enough to want bto hit balls down rabbit holes how bored do you need to be to throw trees around?

Technically, there are many Virginians living near Vienna, which is in Northern Virginia. It's so close to Washington, DC many in my neck of the woods, known as Southside Virginia, consider Vienna as being in another country, regarding our lifestyles.

Lon started the thread. I can't speak to his intent, other than to refer you to Post #1 of this thread.
One thing I can affirm from personal experience, is that in many military dining halls across this country, and around the world, "hot sauce" is a fixture on their tables to make things taste better. Oddly enough, many serving our country put that very "hot sauce" on chipped beef they eat to make it taste better.
Based on that experience, I like you already, as eluded to by the message under you avatar. Hi, back at ya.......

I decided to join this forum after links to the "Regional Discussion" section. I was doing an Internet search for information on city reversion.
I looked at some of ChiptBeef's other posts, and found what I thought was harsh treatment without cause. That's why I started posting in this thread. I think ChiptBeef provides good information, although I don't agree with all the opinons that he (she) posts.

Are the personal attacks really necessary? I was just sharing my opinion. Why does that make me part of a "rot" or "stench"? That's very impolite and offensive, from the way I was raised.

If you think that was an attack, you've got some severely thin skin. I was merely pointing out that you are beating a dead horse. If pointing out the obvious is "impolite", well, I guess I can probably live with that.
