Thank you again so much for all of your beautiful wishes. I really appreciate all that you've done for me.



Today is the 1st day that I took a wee walk along the beach. I piled on the jumpers and took a book and my beach chair to my beach. It was lovely to smell the salt sea air once again.



Took a few pics....I know you've seen them a million times, but I still love to take pics of my beach and bay.



btw Odie....the ice has melted off the bay and your Canada swans are still here hiding in my bay:D I love them and am taking good care of them:-4

I adore your swans...they're gorgeous and stay in the bay, unlike your geese:mad: They poop and snoop all over the place.



Your swans used to come to my bay from Nov to Jan and then move south to the Carolinas. Now, they stay here where I can talk with them:-4

Happy to hear you are eating....that will give you your strength back, but are you well enough to go back to work yet?

- Don't rush it, it will drain you if your not 100%.

I know well about the poop thing, it is a dreadful mess!

I just popped in for a bit this morning. I'm catchin up on all the work that I haven't done lately. My Irish company is arriving on Sunday just for the day. They're very good for coming all the way down the shore to see me. They arrived in NY on Fri and are going home on Tues.



They're in their 20s so they're full of energy. Ahhhhh, to be young again.

Just lost $270 because I can't use my Continental airline ticket to Florida this Friday.



Being in the hospital recently and having to take off a week from work, I just can't take off another 2 days off to go to Florida for my friend's daughter's wedding.



I called Continental and they said I could rechedule with a doctor's note but I'd lose $150 for cancelling, $25 for rescheduling and other fees.:-5

I'm posting 2 pictures of my Irish relatives from Dublin. Yvonne and her new hubby are in the 1st pic. Yvonne is my cousin and she and John are absolutely a treasure. In the 2nd pic is my niece Karen, Yvonne and me.



Yvonne and John are on a worldwind tour of NY. They arrived on Friday and leave on Tuesday. Karen drove them down to the Noo Joisey shore on late Saturday and we spent Sat. and Sunday just gabbing, gabbing, gabbing.



On Sunday, we took a long walk along the sea until the drizzle turned into sleet. When the sand and wind were pounding us in the face, We decided to run home. We were like drowned rats:wah: So who cares, we then took off for Klees with the bees and had fabulous pub grub and tasty pinot noir, and chatted with all my neighbors who were there.



We cried bitter tears when they left and will see each other soon. I'm a lucky girl to have such beautiful people in my life.



My niece Karen is my heart, and we're best friends:-4

I've just got back from Canberra where we had to completely clear the house, finalise everything, for the cleaners and photographers today and tomorrow then showings and auction in March. Kind of an emotional time too, as well as really heavy physical work. Anyway, I came across dozens of photo albums and found pics of us in New York and New Jersey.. including when we broke the bank at Atlantic City. Grin.

Pity about Florida, but life tosses these curved balls. At least, hopefully, you're well again now. I owe you an email. And when I am again capable of rational thought (or even irrational thought).. I'll write. HUGS!!! :sneaky:

Oh, I can imagine how hard this is for you. How do you feel about leaving Canberra. Boy, you have so many memories from your home there. Are the kids upset?



When we moved down the shore from Jersey City I cried such bitter tears. All of my childhood memories are from there.



I've also decided to cancel my summer trip to Siesta Key. Ever since I've been sick, I've decided that I want to stay home with my family. So, we're going to have a ball everyday of the summer and just grill and chill and spend loads of time together:-4



I was telling my friends about our trip to NY and Beccos. I think of you everytime I visit there and the Village.

Yupper, that's me...chipmonk cheeks and squinty eyes, et all. The lighting is odd in those pics. Karen has very blond hair, and Yvonne and I have lots of highlights.



Yvonne and John live outside of Dublin....in an area called Fathfarham.



When my family left Donegal they moved to Dublin. So I have relatives in the Rosses and Gweedore, Donegal, Killarney, Miltown Malbay,Clare and Castlebellingham, Louth.

HI KE, glad you're feeling better again. Sorry to hear you won't be making it down here. But on the bright side, the weather lately has been cold, it rained here on Friday, & were are having Thunder Storms & strong winds today, Sunday. So. . . .

Anyway, as for that cancellation fee, with a "docs" note you would think Continental would wave the fee altogether! That stinks!!!

(Note to self, "don't fly" Continental!)
