Thanks Gilly !!!

I must say there's nothing quite like a post-mortem elegiac massacree before brekkie on a sunny Sinny Sunday.

This time one week ago I was hurtling headfirst down the creatively mogulled powder of Rolex at Steamboat Springs, Colorado - also in sunshine. It's really quite nice to ski when you can see.

You lucky girl ! Good that you had an enjoyable time in Colorado, Pam, you've certainly earned it ! I bet you wished you could have stayed longer ;) :D :-6

Golden 11 came down from heaven

Discussing her summer attire

The mods didn’t let her pass

And she was gone so fast

That you’d think that her ars were on fire

Looking at it another way, Mike, a chara, here we are inside this citadel, all pure and clean and be-haloed and strumming an occasional harp. Outside the walls, are billions and trillions of THE BANNED, probably having a really disgustingly fun, big party. I see them dancing maniacally, merrily sporting the masks of their impersonations, garlanded with spam flowers, smoking nasty illegal advertisements and generally behaving in a most shockingly lascivious and improper manner.

Perhaps we should pen a requiem for ourselves.

We were dull, but quite correct

What requiem can we expect?

Here lie the legion of the good

They all behaved the way they should.

Unbanned we were and full of merit

Though wicked, some of us, in spirit

:sneaky:

We do not seek to sell or write

Missives full of strife and spite

Though questions raised which may astound

And statements made some most profound

WE are not banned cause WE are RIGHT!

garden I again will till

between rows of threads that thrill

as arcade games I still lose

or if casino I chose

FG is still my big thrill

G'day Albert! Oh, I think spite is still allowed in here. Plenty of that around.

Nice to see you, Chonsi. I don't go to the casino or arcade - is that where all the fun folk lurk these days?

Out in the garden you well might

Get spifflocated outta spite

By vampires' certain they are right

Who'll drink your blood and bleed you white

But in the arcade's icy chill

Where breath is cold and heart is still

At turn of wheel you'll feel the thrill

Ground up by the satanic mill

"Cute rabbits and hares"!!!! I could ask, but the question is probably more interesting, unanswered.

I kick them bunnies with my boot

Especially if described as 'cute'

Twice shy is she who once was bitten

And hares are only good when splitten

faint rabbit’s revenge from afar

taking Nomad’s bike, not a car

for cruising down sad tail of woe

of running o’er that broken toe

(I'm sure Nomad wouldn't mind a bit, I'm revving up the bike now) :)

This is strange. Every time 'the' appears on my screen - and this happens often - it is highlighted in a deep, sunny, yellow. Perhaps this thread has contracted jaundice and is moribund and therefore in imminent need of a Requiem?????

As soon as I posted that last post, all the highlighting vanished entirely...

You'll wonder where the yellow went

When you brush your thread with Pepsident...

Little thread, my darling

I've hungered for your touch

A long lonely time

No-one now is naughty

And that should mean so much

Are you still mine???

:sneaky:

You are unchained again

Regained again

Unbrained again..... with me......

In the Garden of Eden lay Adam

Neath the stiletto heel of his Madam

And she giggled with mirth

For she knew that on earth

There were only two boobs, and she hadam

I dare not come back to this forum

As I'd have to act with decorum

If Admin cajoles

That moo from her hole

I'd have a bomb ready just for him

[I don't mean you Pam, or anybody else posting at present on FG, it's about a woman who put me in all sorts of trouble with her spiteful lies]

When you felt alive

how can you walk

With those chains

around your feet?

How can you swim

in an ocean of deceit

Do you think you won't drown

with those hands

holding you down

How can you kiss

with those lies

on your lips

Do you think your perfection

a ghost of the past

Do you think this beauty of yours

will always last

how you can be so stupid

To even dare believe

That just because your an actress

You can swim and not sink?

With those chains

on your wrists

the lies

on your lips

the guilt

in your eyes

how can you not realize

That your wings have fallen

and your stuck on the ground

An angel with no halo

who makes not a sound

Darling dear

Don't pretend

that this is not

what you intend

When you left your life

and swallowed

the knife

Did you think

That heaven was

a place to go when you die

or was it that moment

when you felt alive?
