It's an arrangement of loosely laid ducting. The ducts are laid at a shallow angle beneath the soil to an underground pit full of rubble and other loose non porous material to allow the water to soak away.

Sorry, I meant to say back yard.

It strikes me that it still needs draining if it gets waterlogged. It won't do the grass much good like that.

Ok then.

The only other thing I wanted to say is that you shouldn't really mow the grass when it's wet.:lips:

funny after 3 years of feeding a stray outdoors, you would think it would come to me, he knows me, he sits on the porch in the morning and night waiting for his dinners.......he is either a farrow......or someone did something nasty to him years ago......oh how I want him to live with me......I hate seeing him out in the severe weather conditions.

last winter he was sitting on a fence....there was snow and ice everywhere else.:(

Oh, that's so sad...he must have been very hurt at one time.

I had these 2 beautiful tabby cats like Ducky's new cat. The kids next door fed them all the time. But they always sunned themselves in my backyard and sat on my patio chairs:wah:

Now they're gone since the holidayers came...:-3

it is sad, he's not hurt, but I do believe someone did hurt him and that is why I cannot touch him.

I wonder where yours wondered off to and if they are being fed.

I'm wondering the same thing Odie...They were living around my home for a year, and now they're gone due to the influx of people around.

People feed the cats and then the cats breed like crazy:-5

I believe they hide behind large buildings or complexes in town. We have cats hang out at the 1st aid building:wah:
