If tomorrow was a school day, the kiddies would be off school. Have 9 inches of freshly fallen snow on the ground and it's still lightly snowing. Was just going to take my dog outside but a cub bear just showed up!!!! Why isn't he denned up yet????????

The big drawback with communicating online is that one can't see reaction, body language. One doesn't really know if the nugget of advice you toss out here lands like a brick upside the head there; if the barb you thrust in jest results in a deep wound; or if the offhand compliment arrives just in time to salve a pain one had no idea the other was suffering.

Words are deceptive tools that must be used with great control and skill. and smilies help alot! :-6

Thats why I never use certain words. Words that can be construed as demeaning, even if theyre not meant that way. Thats also why I go to great lengths to add extra silly so if anything I will be the one that just looks foolish. Which is ok. The smilies only work about half the time for me though. :p

I wasnt planning on doing X mas decorations but I made a store run today and they had cool stuff so I loaded up on lights and bows and whatnot and we're all sparkly here now. We had heavy snow all day and it felt like the right thing to do. Im glad I did it, it really helps the festive spirit along.

My mother sent me a nativity set, all Native American. It is so cool! Baby Jesus is a little papoose, the animals are deer, buffaloe, and even bunnies. My husband pouted all day because I put it up and not the traditional one, but when he went to bed, he was playing with Baby Jesus and the Eagle, he liked it!
