I went to puppy classes last night and discovered we are doing every thing wrong :( Mutt has to be treated like the lowest of the low so we can be top dog :driving:

My god it's like being back at school ...i actually got home work ....must go, got to get the little gi...sorry darling into his crate so i can get out early .

Yesterday I took my new laptop back to where I bought it.Im not happy with the touch pad on it and the curser is not right....yes I rung up the manufacturers of the machine and they emailed what I had to do and also Chez told me also.Well this made no difference and at the end of the day I know the law which is..........if the item goes wrong within 6 months you take the item back to where you purchased it....you gave THEM the money not the manufacturers of that item and they have to sort it out or change it or refund yo...............NOT YOU.....as so many shops try to make out.Anyway I got some right stroppy cow who insisted basically I had to sort it out with the manufacturers.........oh boy did I give her........as no matter what she said I KNEW she was talking crap.....in the end I told her I was not moving and suggested she rung Trading Standards...........what a surprise she back paddled and sure enough she took it to send to the manufacturer.....always stand up for your rights guys....remember sometimes these people dont know the law....we know they should but some dont or are told to TRY to get rid of us ......remember ALWAYS complain to whom you bought the item from everytime and let them get it sorted and spend time and money dolng so .... not you.

Carol,, of course you can stil give your doggie lots of love,, but it sometimes depends on the character of the dog and how dominant they can be, that you have to make sure they know you are the boss,,, sarah has a rottie remember ,, they grow to be very big so she has to be in control,,,mine is a staffy and although they are not that big they are very very strong, My Sheila of course was already 18 months old when we got her, so it took some time to get her trained in certain areas,but i have noticced she learns quickly, and that includes bad habits,, i am starting to see where we ahve already made mistakes where she thinks she calls th shots:wah::wah:

Alos too true what you said about dealing with the people you buy from, and let them deal with manufacturers, a furntiure company once tried that with me when i bought a suite,, it didnt work, i made them deal with it. Also when we got a new kitchen once one of the specifications was nowhere near what i had asked for,,, the fitters kept telling me i wouldnt get any joy ringing them, they wouldnt change it,, but,,, i had made the designer write everything down on my contract, and i also made him wriet pay on satisfaction, so i phoned em, explained and said if its not dont the way i want just take it back and i'll go elsewhere,, even though it was practically finished being fited:wah::wah: of course they changed the thing i wanted changing no bother:D

Hope, I'm really sorry about your dear dog . I know that it was expected, but that doesn't minimise the sadness at the time - they are a member of the family after all.

We are now enjoying the company and love of our fifth dog, and even though they all have to go and it is heartbreaking when this happens, I could never not have a dog in the house. They are such good company and a great comfort, and they give so much and expect little in return. They leave such lovely memories.

yeah it's really weird, i got my first dog when i was 2 years old and i have never been without one since, usually have several! :wah:

we still have a little outdoor dog here on the farm a beagle named Spot but it's not the same as having one in the house with you!

Im only back for a short while,, going to my mams for a visit soon but i'll be back around 6.30:D

well i went to asda to get a nice photo frame to put a pic of me and my friend in and give her when she leaves..then i decided to have a look for a light summer jacket,, didnt have any but i got two pairs of jeans, a pair of cut offs and 3 tops:wah: poor hubby had to stand outside the changing room and flirt with the assistants:rolleyes::wah:
