I have to get the cord from my mom, etc. He looked fab the other day in his Communion suit. I ended up renting one from a local place...the jacket, tie & shoes were only $65...The Men's Wearhouse wanted $135:rolleyes:...good thing it wasn't in the store! Went around and got a better price.

I have had a long talk with her at her house today. We are still very close friends and she doesn't for one minute think I had anything to do with her being fired. I saw the list of infractions and my name was never listed there at all.

As her friend, I do notice a bit of bi-polar in her. Maybe it is the negitive side of her that the big bosses see as well.

I thought that maybe she could fight it in court seeing she was fired while on Medical leave but there is a loop hole. If the infractions occured while she was still employed and she didn't adapt to the new procedures when she was told to, they can let her go at any time. She is still considered and employee until such time as she is discharged or quits.

I haven't had the chance to let her know that part yet. I may not. It would only depress her more. Better to leave well enough alone as she will find it out herself soon enough.

I remember you telling me she would not do things the way he had asked her to.

that is why I said he may let her go, as you are doing everything his way which is correct...she just assumed she could do things her own way............and he had mentioned this to her several times.........to please do things his way.

I know. I just wish there was something I could do. I know how badly they need the income. She is one smart lady and I'm sure she can find another job. Not much available in this area. The unemployment rate is so high here. Guess all I can do is keep her in my prayers and be there for her when she needs a shoulder or a friend to talk with.

Love the pause feature like if someone calls or comes to the door. Big news today. I have been transfered to another station!!!!!! I still have my old position and pay but just a different place. The gal that I am replacing is getting my old spot. Also, the second shift guy has been transfered. My head is spinning to say the least.

I asked why the transfer and they handed me a bunch of garbage about a clean sweep and seeing if maybe a change would do us all a bit of good. I know why though. I wasn't born yesterday. I am my old managers best friend and they don't want me to have access to all of the old records that are stored on the computer. Little do they know that I have already copied what she needs for her court case. :sneaky: I know, maybe I shouldn't have done that but I think what they did was all wrong. I also know for a fact that it is illegal for them to fire her while she is on medical leave. As far as they know, I know nothing.

All that I copied was the over/shorts for the month. My name is on there as well so I had the right to know. If they fire me for wanting to know about my own things, let them try. I do value my job and wouldn't do anything to jepordize it. I need the income and insurance.

I'm quite sure nothing will ever become of the information. I will however, speak to carol about it. I'm sure she would understand if I asked for it back.
