Evening peeps
Hey Kay, got some bad news for ya:-3
Big Brother has been pulled from the Australian schedules by Network Ten seven years after it began there.
The current series, which featured a surprise appearance from Pamela Anderson, will be the last when it ends later this month.
Former Baywatch star Pamela, 41, was flown into the house last week in an apparent attempt to revive the show's flagging ratings.
Ten programming head David Mott said of the decision to axe the series: "After eight successful seasons and 1,316 episodes, Ten today announced that Big Brother will not be returning in 2009
Hope UK dont follow suit. This years bb is one of the best in my opinion.
Hope you all ok, soz your still poorly Fuzzy, big hug and get well soon:-4

How funny. Last night while watching our version of the BB, they had a commercial on about Dell laptops and they came in all sorts of colors. Thought of you when I saw the pink one.

I enjoyed Survivor, Ducky. It was a lot more interesting and challenging than BB. I'm afraid I haven't watched 'Shipwrecked' so I can't say anything about that !

morning guys,
overcast here and a bit foggy, july ?? you got to be kiddin !!:-2
i did a bit of reading up on my op last night on the net and didnt like what i read BUT at the end of it there was a list of books and herbal remedies you could buy off the site to improve the situation !!!
this is why i've now got an appointment at the docs ths afternoon to find out the truth.
ive been left with a slightly drooping eye lid and the eye itself is very bloodshot and aches when i get tired, also get double vision, somethng this site i was on has said will now be permanent.
as you can imagine, im not too happy about it. im no oil painting as it is with out me ruddy eyes adding to it.:D
the breathlessness, also another thing im now supposed to put up with for ever wont change much either but my voice will take at least another two months to settle down.
going to have a look on NHS DIRECT now and se what they say about it.

Hello each !!
Kay, Hope, Ducky, Pants, Helen, Carol. Hope you all have a good day/night.
It's quite warm here at the moment, with a little breeze and the sun is shining.
Chris has gone into town (using his bus pass

).
Andy had a disturbed night because he was woken up by youngsters messing about noisily in the play park at 3.00 AM. Apparently he went downstairs (having slung a few clothes on) and out the back, but by the time he'd got there, the buggers had moved away - they must have sensed that somebody was going to challenge them ! Andy did not switch on any lights either, to give the game away. What the hell are parents thinking of to allow their kids to wander around at that time of night ffs. There were about half a dozen of them, and Andy said there were a couple of girls and one of the lad's still had an unbroken voice ! We shall see what happens tonight. Of course, it has made Andy grumpy because of his lack of sleep - so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
:-5:-3
I wish there were half a dozen of us, so we could come in on them from all around, and frighten the living 'shti' out of them ! Particularly armed with a German Shepherd tank ! If they try it again another night. Ah well, we'll see. :-3

Helen, good luck at the docs this afternoon mate. Don't take any bullshti - I expect they'll try to fob you off. I didn't know that your op would affect your eye like that !!
Somebody we know had a similar op. and it didn't affect their eye or give them double vision. So what have they done ? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Is that supposed to be how you are after that op ? Were you warned before the op ?:-3 :-5

hi gill,
the only thing they told me about was my voice. i had it pratically as soon as i woke up from the op. to be honest i was texting like a demon all the time i was in there and put it down to eye strain !! but it hasnt improved one bit, despite not being on here reading so much and cutting down on texting. i might have to wait til i have my follow up appointment on the 31st to see what they say about it then.
it really is noticeable and i've got self concious about it now !!
from what i've read, its something called graves disesase and docs dont know what causes it but also from what ive read its one of the symptoms you get BEFORE you have the op !!!
